I bought in the last two trading days for 18k shares. I've been trading this stock for 15 years --haven't been in it for 3 but I usually check on it frequently. This stock has had tendencies to move very quickly as it has a small float. It has jumped up the last couple of days--first time volume has been at 6 figures two days in a row in 2 years. Price precedes volume--the basic rule. This one can double or triple with in a week or two--I've seen it done 7-8 times before. One time it drove from pre-split 4 to 30 in 2 days. Not a big trade--but Im looking for a quick 30-50k

Very interesting Briggs.. in the last 6 months it's more than doubled slowly but surely. Looks like they develop TV tuning products for PCs which is an expanding market at this point. Could end up having a nice boom.

I've made more $$ on Haup than any other stock in the market--Ive been trading it for 15 years sans the last 3. It once traded from 4 to 101.5 pre split. One day it was rumored that Broadcast.com was in a deal with them--yep the same company that Mark Cuban pimped on yahoo for 5B and the stock ran up 20 points in two days[pre split] My 3 best stocks of all time Tasr mid 2000's Haup 1996-2006 and a scam stock called eDig--that somehow still trades./

it's an interesting play Briggsy... looks like a bet on the consumer electronics sector

are you bullish on technology? retail? am I reading too much into this?

BTW, I'm planning on taking a position... I have some 401k money set aside and as soon as my brokerage account is opened I have some money to play with. You're giving me fish; I want to learn to fish. (so please don't take it as me questioning your acumen... trying to learn from it)

Briggs, should I be in play on this for a few weeks or for longer? What is your estimate on the price it will get to?

On a technical trade i could car less if the companies name was dog sht that smells . If the chart and volume says go--then I say go. Im trying to give you a much quicker hitter than an investment. I do them all the time--1 month or less timeframe.

Works for me, i'm getting in today. I gotta tell you Briggs, watching HAUP explode was such a rush! Generally I check positions at different times of the day. This time I caught on as it started climbing at $1.70 and I watched it go all the way to and beyond 3.00 and it was fun. You must feel this way all the time!
