Never heard of this kid until today. Definitely an athlete plus he has a decent shot. He was projected as a top 10 pick but decided no to declare this year.

Just the OP's way of being provocative.

Here is the DraftExpress take on his game:
http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Jan-Vesely-1402/

Interesting player, but very far from a finished product, it would seem.

If Walsh had taken him at the same spot he took Gallo, the OP would have been one of the first "fans" calling for Walsh's head.

My understanding is that the Czech population is on the rise in the Big Apple.

I think it is possible he would implode if touched by Dejuan Blair--or maybe just the 6th row.

Stop talking foolishness. I like athletes with skill.Contrary to what many believe the top players in the league are serious athletes.

Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Lebron James, Ray Allen,Joe Johnson, Dwayne Wade, Amare, Bosh, Anthony, etc.

A 6'11" guy who is a fluid athlete has value. I doubt he was projected as a lottery pick because of his looks.

I like his athletisism, he plays over the rim for sure. Looks like a good help defender

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Anubis was Optimus on RealGM before he changed his name to Guyver and soon got banned for being an annoying troll.

At least Juice is not using Mike D'Antonio Sabbato Jr. nicknames on here anymore. Probably because it'll be too obvious.

As for me, I'm just trudging along, taking the back seat and watching the action instead of getting involved.

Draft Express has him as a top 3 prospect in 2011. Everyone wants to make jokes but I don't recall hearing about Danilo Gallinari until he was rumored to be a Knick target. Sorry I dont live in Europe I have to rely on others to make me aware of Euro prospects.

I dont recall to many Euro stiffs being mocked by Draft Express this high. Obviously he is just more than 6' 11" and athletic to be mocked that high.

it has nothing to do with him being a foreign prospect, it has to do with your veiled attempt to put down Gallinari for absolutely no reason other than to get a rise out of people.

lol! I've played against this dude. But yeah, he's athletic as ****, although he didnt look that quick back then. Havent seen him play in 1,5 years, though.

Funny story from that tournament, the whole chech national team drank themselves to death after qualifying for the finals - you just have to get to the finals to advance from the B European Championships to the A EC's. So they all went celebrating the night before the finals and all the guys was hungover the next day for the finals. He played like shyt I think.

Can't believe he's projected that high. I guess the NBA isn't that much of a long shot as one might think when being a kid and balling.

Kind of figured that they were one in the same.

Hard for some people to change, I guess.
