they were on a 4 game killing spree that ended due to 2/5 of the starting lineup being injured. the team looked like it finally gelled and were very impressive, nevertheless, I still have to say I like the trade mostly because I like Marbury and always felt he belonged here with the Knicks and Penny is ok in my book just wish he wasn't so overpaid, but i would have perferred a little more patience from Isiah just to check out whether the team really had something going here or if it was all just a fluke but i guess now we'll just never know.

Silver you are crazy, they won 4 games straight with frank williams at the point and when he got hurt they lost 2 games. THAT IS WHAT HE IS SAYING AND i HAVE SAID ALL ALONG. People just want marbury to play in NY but the timimg was jacked up and you are in denial.

The trade was not made based on any streak. It was made.
If the knicks fortunes were based on Frank's play then we are too fragile. Frank is not yet a good point guard. Eisley was awful.
Lets not be so short sighted to think to think its frank.
I guess you can then say that Frank is better than Starbury? better record as a starter.
We did not give up any players of present value to get starbury. but now there is no plan "B".
I Root for Thomas to complete this team, promote Malone to interm coach, and get lucky. He must continue to take risks with the roster.

you dont spend 150mm$ give away essentially 4 1st round draft picks and take on additional SHOT maximum players to rebuild.

H2O is going to be 34 next year dikembe is probably 40 + right now KT will be 33 and will Penny and we gave away almost every asset. this is a WIn now team that cant win.
Pheonix has a MUCH MUCH better scouting system than the Knicks--look at their drafts----they sckered us into giving up everything and knew what they were worth. we got ripped off tremendously IMHO. This trade wouldve only been fair if they included marion instead of hardaway.

somehow I believe they must install a 3 guard line up to make it work. Im thinking start Van horn at 4 and Andersen at 3.
