Where are the zebras refs to help out the lakers ?

Knicks president, their coaches, their staff all should take note serious and watch how
thunder was built and their philosophy of playing ball.

LA Lakers should or may? win in 6 or 7 games
but would u all be really shocked ? if LA feel to this upcoming feel good and fun to watch
Okla Thunder (aka S.Sonics) whom few yrs ago didnt even have a nba home and whole nba hoops
fans felt sorry for them.

Lakers gonna need all them zebra's whistles back in LA for 2 of 3 games left for LA to
beat Thunder. You can write that !
*LOL this Kevin Durant humble team ain't afraid of Lakers
Dont count out Kobe yet the winner of their next game will be
in the drivers seat somewhat.

The Thunder show how to build our team with characters and skilled players, youth, 1-2 stars whom aint afraid of squat or anyone.

Gallo is only one I seen so far with Attitude on current roster. Toney Douglas is getting their
and will learn.

We can only hope and pray to be as good as thunder one day real soon

Thunder got lucky they were able to get Durant after the Blazers made that classic blunder by taking Oden at 1. You also need some luck to go your way when you make these selections. Luck and an amazing scouting staff. The Thunder have that, the Knicks never have.

Furthermore, building a team like that took the Thunder 5 years. And that's with getting all the picks right. The Bulls took a decade to build a mediocre team that they have now and the only reason they're even respectable is because they lucked out by winning the lottery from the 8th spot and got Rose in the process.

This way of building a team can work but you need time and patience and I don't believe Knick fans would have been too happy losing for 5 more years at a minimum and praying our scouts and GM draft a franchise player along the way.

I admire the way Mr. Sam Presti built that team though. They have cap space, a superstar, a 2nd star in Westbrook and great rotation guys like Ibaka, Sefolosha and Green. If they added even a guy like Boozer or something in free agency, they would be a legit championship contender. They're a good big man away from that level. I think Presti will get them help in the summer, regardless of what happens in the playoffs.

I love these kind of examples and how for every one OKC you have about 5 other teams that have been in the lottery for years and still don't have a K Durant. In this league there are so few Elite Title Making players it's not fair to use them as examples. Lebron, Wade, Kobe, Durant n Melo are on another level and they don't come along every draft. The great SG/SF is an elusive find much like great C's. We haven't had a legit shot at that kind of player. We have no #1 this year and even if we did there's no Durant to be had. This FA thing is our best chance to land one of these guys but there's no way gurantee you get that guy. Not thru the draft or in FA. At least we've got a puncher chance this way.

DJ: Without Durant the Thunder are an average squad at best. It's all about the star.

It's called defense! defense! my man and that is something that D'Antoni does not beleive in. That's why he can't be the coach of the future for New York. I've had it with him and his pot luck 3 point shooting.

I guess Phil Jackson knew his team was at a disadvantage, no wonder he started to cry about fouls before the series even began. He kind of knows that the Lakers only have a chance against the Thunder is if the refs chip in to help the Lakers. Its been done in the past, Phil will get his wish he always does.

Lakers will beat the Thunder due to some questionable calls. Then they'll beat the Spurs due to some questionable calls. Then they'll beat the Jazz due to some questionable calls. What else is new? They're the Lakers. It's how they do.

Well I THINK Stern ordered the zebra's to keep Dwight in foul trouble in hopes of a Cleveland/Lakers finals
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

I agree with what u said on Presti
and about Russell Westbrook? my main man I used to tell them on other forum boards its ashame Knicks dont know about this UCLA
guy and that they didnt have picks to grab him when he was coming out into league. I knew the freakish Westbrook had tools to play
in NBA as most UCLA guys recently coming into league shows (*see trevor ariza ex-knick)

However Westbrook is going toward stardom. I dont even think Knicks knew whom he was regardless of bringing him in for workouts
and NY not having position to get him. Russell is a damn good playa only to get better with superstar in making which is Kevin Durrant.

I agree Thunder won out over the soft Greg O. blazer disaster. However give em' credit
Thunder got a nice future. I love the fact they can play and you are perhaps right that its
going to take talented bigs to take out Durant in playoff series.

I dont see any on West teams like MAVs, only the experienced SPURs and perhaps Lakers bigs can take Durant out and so far
the bigs on Lakers having all kind of problems with Durant!

True
I hear ya Bip
150% correct

but tell me something how much of us ? thought Durant ? after his team loss near/50 games ? last yr 2008/9
would develop such a rate to turn around his team in the big bad NBA ?

I knew Durant was real good however he got LBJ greatness written on him .. one of few players whom can chase
after the big 3 ( Kobe, LBJ, Wade) in greatness pending.

1 player.
I love Westbrook he is going to be a star but basically Durant is so much better than his 2nd its amazing the
Lakers are in 2-2 dog fight.

I disdain LA Lakers and even the Celtics more.
Both of them teams cant lose too fast & quickly out of playoffs and go kiss Dj's were sun dont shine I could care less
about Laker and Celtics organizations other than to see them lose.

Any real Knick fan feels like that ! especially in the East where Knicks are.
Not even the Heat disdains the Knicks as Celtics org. does traditionally and historically.

I wonder what Evans would have done on a team like the Thunder instead of Harden. Guess GMs dont get it right all the time.

I think that team would be worse... I don't think there's enough balls for a Westbrook/Evans tandem to work. But Curry instead of Harden?

If Oklahoma City wins this series, it will go down as the greatest upset in NBA history. With that said, it's not going to happen. Kobe Bryant does not lose in the 1st Round. Wouldn't be shocked if Kobe scored 50 tonight.

I hear ya
I love the Thunder but I'd be shocked if an less than < 100% Kobe does not go off tonite at LA
Expect him to light it up if possible, maybe 60pts ? he dont like to lose but thunder can shock
world with upset win.

Definite winner tonight wins the series, is way I see it whether it goes 6 or 7 games
