AFAIK and I do keep tabs on this one. Alabi has not declared at all. Again... unless he -really- needs the money he's giving up a lot coming out this year and I just don't see it. But he is an immense talent if still raw. There is a TON of potential there. Just don't see him coming out if he won't go first round. And he is a good student by all accounts. But if he is on the board it's a no-brainer. Even if you trade up.

Briggs- why waste your effort in posting this here?

This Knick Franchise has ZERO interest in building through the draft.

And, you know how you posted about teams needing length?

Better still - how important is it to have a PG that can get into the lane and handle pressure? I watched part of both the Bulls and OKC - and Rose and Westbrook were key, and Durant just unbelievable.

Its really sad watching this Knick franchise try to starphuck through FA, where teams like OKC and the Bulls have focused on building a solid foundation of talent, with parts and stars that all blend together and develop together.

OKC vs. Lakers reminds me a bit of when the Bulls were on the rise and having to get by the Pistons.

hey Briggs, I'm really surprised you Ebanks sooooooo far down the list? i think he's going to be an awesome pro.. the kid had a rough start to this year, but progressed nicely through the tourney. bigs with his size, ball handling skills are hard to come by. one thing though - he definitely needs to improve his shot.

they blew the Hill pick but thats not a fair statement. Gallo is untouchable, and Walsh paid $3mm to buy a pick to draft Toney Douglas. Both players look like long term contributors to this team. We have 2 second rounders and I can guarentee we will be buying more picks because we are going to need to fill roster spots with cheap players.

Walsh and co may be targeting FA to get their main guys but is there any doubt he's going to be heavily involved in this draft? He HAS to be

"Whiteside" could do wonders for a community pick.

Natural selection for Utah with our pick.

No big deal, but I thought Monroe had decided to stay in school?

What else to do?:) I think it shows we should likely get two decent players. It's kind of like top heavy --after the first 10 or so. Than it's who do you like what is your flavor versus obvious talent level upgrade.

Very quick put together and athletic with a decent shot. I don't know if he is a 1 or a small 2.

I think he was exposed this year a bit. He wasn't the best player on his own team. He had some character instances his long range shooting was exposed and he rarely impacted games. He's long athletic and rangy but also skinny. He's an NBA player but how good is he?

Plus it's not a secret that the Knicks coveted both Westbrook and Curry in the last 2 drafts (throw in Rubio as well) -- all were gone. It's not like Donnie Walsh doesn't like draft picks -- he just made the last deal with the devil to go all in free agency with max flexibility.

All legitimate gripes with him. I guess I see alot the same I saw in 'what could be' for a guy like Earl Clark. Clark never really got better while at Louisville but he's such an athletic freak and has guard-like abilities that I guess you always think they can take that step. I think Ebanks right now is a better prospect than Clark was and if he can just improve on that jumpshot, I think he would be a matchup nightmare for the opposition. I guess theres alot of IFs in there.

Think Cousins and Whiteside are rated too high
even though they will go top 10

Sure I'd take any of them on Knicks

But Cousins nor Whiteside will come in right away and make Knicks contenders.
Need a different type of star for that

New rules for under-classmen. It makes it almost impossible for some guys to leave or get a real shot at impressing a team over a period of 6 weeks. Now you have two weeks from TODAY or May 8th AND they will not allow you to miss school. I don't know who made these rules but it reminds me of communism. Where is the fairness to the kids who now have to make rushed decisions or maybe don't get a chance to raise their stock inf ront of pro teams. One bad workout--who knows. What if that kid couldve made the NBA and gets hurt but not getting the right feedback because he didnt get the chance for a full impression. I cant believe they made the rules so strict. Student athletes should boycot games

agreed... Cousins has a ton of growing up to do before he can take the next step towards becoming a dominant force in the paint at the NBA level.

IMO out of this draft the ones that will come in & make a huge impact right off the bat are Wall, Turner, Favors & possibly Aminu.
