"i didnt hear it. I heard a chant, but i didnt know what they were saying. I found out later," Chaney said. "Its a good chant. We stunk."

Chaney is a nice guy and a real gentleman. He just doesn't seem to be a good head coach. (Probably an okay assistant coach).

THats gotta suck having so many people calling out for you to get fired but should'nt that just convince you to leave. I mean, what more do u need than a 30pt blowout.

Bottom line is that the Layden/Chaney regime is about to get destroyed and be replaced. Their success cannot be gauranteed but you dont need an oracle to find out if the new guys will surpass the old overmatched ones.

Steve summers just said on the radio that he thinks tat Chaney will be gone soon, i hope so Chaney seems like a nice guy but he sucks as a coach. If i was horrible at my job i would be fired too.

Chaney's newest excuse for the Knicks' woes is the "adjustment period" with a fresh floor leader in Marbury.

"Hopefully it won't take too long, but if it does, [Thomas] has to do what he has to do," Chaney said. "He has pressure on him too. My job is to win, no matter if we have new guys or hurt guys. I know that. I'm a realist. I know Isiah has a job to do. He has to make a decision on patience or no patience."

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I cannot believe Chaney will coach the Knicks against Milwaukee tonite. I was almost sure of it that he would be fired before. I was soo wrong about this. Looks like Chaney has a stronger hold on Dolan than anyone expected.

Chaney still being here is not surprising to me at all. The cutoff point for Chaney IMO is 10 games under .500...

If we lose tonight... watch out for the news...

Zeke's moves usually occur on Mondays. 48 hours, baby... Get ready!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
