OK ... I don't like chaney. He couldn't think outside the box if he was sitting on it. He's led the Clippers to 11-71 and I don't even need to mention what he's done with our Knicks ...

But change is a quick fix ... if it's even a fix at all!

Firing the coach has not proven to turn a season around like some guys like to think! We need to weather the storm, not pack up everything and try to find a new location during it!

I mean look, Isiah isn't stupid. He'll fire chaney and pick up someone like Daly, or someone else creative *cough (himself) in the same way he told chaney to start Fwill.

But the thing that angers a lot of guys is that he's still here. Now. Leading an unfamiliar club whose confidence depends on the score.

Am I happy that the Knicks lost to the Rockets pathetically? Hell no. But it's not going to ruin my day (life). It's not the end of the world and by no stretch of the imagination proof that we got screwed. We did not trade for Marbury to win against Houston tonight... We traded for him to get to the playoffs, and win a championship within a couple of years! Which, by the way, a lot of people think is possible now.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I can wait if this was Chaney's first season but he has had enough time, complete off season and healthy players. He happens ot have some kind of power over Dolan! Most coaches get fired whent hey have 2 losing seasons in a row.

I can have patience but there is no light at the end of this tunnel.

and with each loss making the playoffs will become more and more impossible and they got Stephon so that they definitely make it.

my friend, when you are bringing in a 3 to play the 4 position

when you replace deke with andersen

there is something VERY WRONG with the roster.

Isiah is probably going to be the coach next season, so it's a matter of when Chaney is fired, not if. Missing shots is understandable; playing without energy isn't.

I missed tonights game (guess I'm lucky, it sounds like it was excruciating.)

Let's face it this is a whole new team, and as much as we expect these guys to be big tough basketball players, some of them are probably in shock over all the changes that have occurred. They don't know each other. They haven't been through the wars together.

I guess Isiah made the trade feeling it would be the best move in the long run. I really think it has hurt team chemistry and morale in the short term, and losing will only make that worse.

So patience probably is called for here.

patience and a new coach and as is clearly evident a backup PF with the trading of Mcdyess. Once that is done then we have a complete team and I will have all the patience in the world.

You mean a starting PF. You won't win jack with KT as you starter he is a soft player. Big game and he dissappears as usual. He has lost so much weight he no longer is a PF. You KT guys are fooling yourself into thinking he is a good powerforward.

read my other posts and you'll see that what you just said about KT is the exact same thing I said. He along with Chaney are our weakest links. Not that he's not good. We just need a low post big man so that we don't wind up with games like we had tonight were we take nothing but jump shots and miss them. So trade kurt for rasheed and bring in a PF to replace Dice, if we don't then we are too weak at PF.

Well I can understand how the Knicks feel right now because at work we are going through a transition too - 2 team members have resigned over the past 2 weeks. But when change happens you need to embrace it - if you fight it then you will fail. The Knicks need to think of this time as a transition but they also need to keep their heads up. Its probably hard because this team has been so low for so long. Things will improve, just give it time.

KT was awful in the beginning of the game, taking every shot and running defenders over. I wouldn't be surprised if he set the tone for the rest of the game last night. A rea coach will not allow Thomas to try to take over a game
