This time of year and with teams not fighting for anything I wouldn't be surprise of any numbers to tell you the truth. Seen it too many times. But good night for him.

Maybe this year we can do some free advertising and pump up who ever we want in the second round, just like last year with Curry

I really feel like D'Antoni was partly responsible for Curry going before our pick. They loved the guy and let the world know and then to top it off didn't try to lock him up, like we did a few years before with Charmin. When you like a lotto pick, keep it quiet and try to promise the guy, you know Evans isn't going to slide...

If I had my choice between S Curry and D Wade I would take Curry. D Wade is one of the top 5 players but he is also an injury waiting to happen. Curry has all the potential to be the best PG and a top 10 NBA player himself. I still would like to know if we could've had that deal with Washington's5 for chandler or why we didn't try to swap with Minnesota. I think the Knicks just liked and wanted Hill.

This was not the only good game he had- you are right about the end of the year numbers, to an extent, but Curry has had an excellent rookie year- and this game was just icing on the cake for him.

I have to see Curry play real basketball for a real team before I start proclaiming that he is a future top 10 player, and that I would take him over a first ballot HOF in his prime.

Blaming MDA for GSW for picking him because we said we liked him?

C'mon man, they guy is a coach. GSW don't take players cuz the knicks might with the next pick.

And on A nellie team a guard that can shoot can put up numbers.

IM suprised his game translated as well as it did with his small frame this year. The talent is there but the kid adapted it to the mans game. Good for him!

Curry wanted to be here also. Don't they all.

I don't think so, Briggs- I think we thought Curry was going to be there when we picked, and that Hill would be gone. You have to think that MDA was in love with Curry's game as well as his intelligence and maturity. I think we would have taken Curry over Rubio and Evans, to be honest.

The team that F'd up the most in the draft (IMO)was Minny- who could have ended up with some combination of Curry and Hill/DeRozan on their team, or if they had made the trade (if it really was on the table) with us- Rubio (who might have played if he had not been "insulted" with the Flynn pick), Chandler, and whomever they picked with our #8 pick.

I always wanted this kid.. I find it funny how people kept telling me he won't be able to get his shot off in the NBA..

anyway, I do think playing in nellies helter skelter, street ball deluxe system does allow him to pad his numbers, but nevertheless, the kid can play..

If Rubio is "insulted" I would be suprised. I think its just "Posture" more than anything. I don't think he or anyone thought he'd fall to 4 and that it would be Siberian small ass market Minny snagging his rights.

But, Kahn is building thru the draft and in the end he might have the last laugh. Teams like ATL and OK suck until all of a sudden they are up and comers. Even Milwaukee got us green with envy.

I dont see Curry sniffing those stats unless he plays for Don Nelson or D'Antoni. Curry is definitely a baller and adept passer but his ball handling is still suspect. He reminds me of a weaker smaller OJ Mayo which is a good thing.

I was super high on Stephen Curry. I thougt he would at worst be a Mike Bibby type. But he's much better and much more talented. You can pencil Curry as a perennial All-Star. Curse Don Nelson for stealing him! :( If Golden State is smart, they fire that bum Nelson, hire Jeff Van Gundy or Avery Johnson and trade Monta Ellis.

Do you remember Mike Bibby in Sacramento? Not the old washed up Atlanta Bibby.

Yup, that was what I thought Stephen Curry would develop to in his prime but I now think he'll be better.

They won 26 game, and although I like curry( got him on my roster in 2k) he's no different then Dlee putting up a tripple dub in a meaningless game. He's by far the worst defensive rookie pg in his entire draft class.

I agree with you. I wouldn't put it past the kid to improve on his defense though. Curry was never going to be a Knick on draft day anyways. To many thing go wrong for the Knicks. It all starts with not tanking properly they passed up on a number of elite player in the past because of their inability to toss a season on the way side should have taken a lesson from what the Nets did this year but the Knicks never learned that tanking has its benefits. The year the Knicks have a draft pick they win 32 games the year they don't they win 29 games they disgust me that would have been enough to get one slot better for position in the lottery last year.

I like Douglass he plays defense and is only going to get better. He seems like such an ideal fit to be playing with LeBron or Wade. He can hit the open shot can create his own shot and is a beast on the defense. He has had some pretty good games too.

Again. I think people don't value how hard it is to put up efficient numbers. He is playing for someone that just forgot how to coach. The kid lit up the league as a rookie and had to share the backcourt with Ellis. He is a star and someone the knicks should have went at full force.

I liked the idea of packaging chandler to washington in order to move and. The Knicks could have easily signed Ariza for a mid-level deal and had two position taken care of hell three starter with Gallo, Ariza, Curry.

Donnie really needs to get a plan together, asap

I wouldnt hold GS's record against Curry, given that he's playing with D Leaguers, but I really like the Lee comparison.

Curry is playing wildly undisciplined, stat-friendly, And-1 basketball. He's not trash, he's a top rookie, but his game is hyper-inflated.
