Funny thing is that the #8 slot really did go to a .500 team. Too bad it wasn't us. But anyway. I think Bosh is going to SERIOUSLY consider leaving Toronto and going to another team. If we can actually convince him to come here and be partnered with another top player I think he'll do it.

The next iron in the fire is what happens in Cleveland! IF they don't win a title this year Man we could have a VERY good summer. I don't know how Lebron could turn down New York and a chance to play with Bosh for the next 10 years. I hate the Bulls, but I was rooting hard for them to knock out the Raps.

Why wouldn't Bosh just go to the Bulls? They have a better team, a rising star (Rose) and a defensive center to put next to him (Noah).

I know you're joking but the only person who really cares about being a global icon is LeBron.

LOL. But I think that is a type of situation that Bosh would be looking for (a young all-star pg) or possibly something closer to his home like Houston.

The Idea is for Bosh and Lebron to be paired up. Rose is a good young player, but I think we offer the only real shot to play with the best. Also we could pull off a deal for CP3. It's gonna really be interesting. There are so many options. Miami with Wade and Chicago with Rose are really great options for Bosh, but like I said we're going for the top with the Lebron/Bosh combo or maybe even CP3/Bosh.

Bottom line! If LEbron stays in cleveland then Bosh does go to chicago who has an all- star former #1 pick pg..

Maybe Not if we can pry CP3 away from NO. Chicago has a nice core tho so it might be very tempting for Amare or Bosh. We have to hope we can get something done that brings in a star to give us an edge. In a fight with Miami or Chicago we lose cuz of Wade n Rose. I have to believe DW knows this and has a plan to get us in the mix with a trade with a team like NO. Teams that have capped themselves out and can't improve so they're stuck.

All the Hornets have to look forward to is another non playoff season and paying a huge luxury tax. I think they are a prime trade target. Then you have teams like GS that can't re-sign everyone of their young players. We've got some options to make a deal happen before the top guys sign.

How do you figure that?

I don't see that team being that strong. The west is so tough and they are ok but not good. Even if they had CP3 it would've been tough to make the playoffs in the West. We could offer them a chance to start over and reduce cap. Why should they take a chance they sneak into the playoffs and if they don't they have to eat all that luxury tax money anyway.

Dlee and Chandler for CP3. Don't laugh. They will want us to take Peja, we can't do that.

Actually might make the Hornets overall better. DLee sign and traded. Question is does he really want to be in NO?

Lament on Eddy sucking.

Can GMs even talk trade yet? I don't see why not.

CP3 agent can inform a certain Lebron underling there is a deal thats gonna happen and he can join in the fun.

Next year is fun. We add our big the year after with Eddy's money. Gallo will get better.

We can take Peja who has a only one year left. That would give us 2 expirings next year. I just get the feeling New Orleans is ripe for a change.
We can take on salary in order to get a great young player like CP3.

How do you know that a trade wouldn't happen? There are all kinds of possible moves teams will be looking to make. It's not a high degree if probability but my guess is that CP3 would welcome a change and the teams financial situation is not good. They barely averted the luxury tax last year but I think that won't happen thus year without a major move. Besides they have a team that is ok but not great and they need to start over. Why not get an early start?

b/c for the hornets to trade paul, it would effectively be in a situation where they are shutting down the franchise. he is the face of the franchise and has strong ties to the community. i don't think you can easily trade someone like that unless you are getting some bonafide knock your socks young talent in return - like westbrook + green and that's not even enough. the knicks have ZERO to offer new orleans for paul. this isn't like trading for marbury or baron davis or anything like that. paul is important to them, more than saving a few bucks.

I don't think for one single second eddy curry will play another basketball games as a knick, especially if we sign two max guys. If Bosh walks out on the rapts ( who have little to no cap space to make any major upgrades) with out a SnT then curry will simple be brought out.

The only teams that can probably get Chris Paul around the draft would be the team with a top 3 pick and young guys to spare.

To be honest I can't see LeBron being paired with CP3. They both need the ball in their hands. What I can see is CP3/Amare or Bosh togeher.
