20:32 mark is where the info starts.

Summery:
- Lebron will sign a 3 yr deal minimum
- Possibly 4 or 5 yrs with the last two as option years similar to the Eddy Curry deal. Opting out would depend on new CBA.
- Lebron will leave Cleveland after his next contract

So we can start the Lebron 2013 plan.

Lebron seems all about the dollars. At the end of the 3 yr deal he will be eligible for a larger percentage of the cap depending on the new CBA.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

A lot of sources are usually unnamed. I will say this if Lebron comes out to quell this rumor then it will definitely keep things rolling but if he keeps quiet our antennas should be up full strength.

what makes you think Lebron cares enough to say anything? People have been writing about this for 2 years. He's done with it.

There is no way LeBron James is resigning with Cleveland without visiting New York on July 1st or 2nd.

Guys, we need to move on with the Lebron James sweepstakes. Knicks need to improve the team longterm to win a few championships. we need to remain flexible with aour cap space and continue to improve long term.

Lebron has already made up his mind.. He's staying.. He's putting tons of pressure on the organization to improve the team by adding lots of weapons. that, they did sucessfully.

If this happens--we can go hard after Bosh and resign David lee

Im telling you a frontline of Bosh Lee and Gallinari will be scary

We would have an additional 9mm to fill out the roster--which I think is under-rated.

interesting article on bosh - injury out rest of season:

April 7, 2010, 10:33 pm
Bosh to Miss at Least Rest of Regular Season
By JONATHAN ABRAMS

Chris Bosh will miss at least the rest of the regular season after sustaining a facial fracture, the Toronto Raptors announced on Wednesday. The injury will cause Bosh to miss at least the final five regular-season games and probably the playoffs if the Raptors qualify.

It also raises a possibility that Bosh, who is expected to be one of the most highly coveted free agents this summer, has played his final game as a Raptor. On Wednesday, in Bosh’s first missed game, the Raptors lost to the Boston Celtics, 115-104. The veteran Reggie Evans started in Bosh’s place and missed five of his six shots.

The Raptors have a half-game lead over the Chicago Bulls for the Eastern Conference’s final playoff spot, but their margin of error is slipping. Toronto has lost 16 of its last 23 games, slipping from the middle of the seeds to the bottom and possibly out.

Bosh’s injury occurred Tuesday, the result of an inadvertent elbow from Antawn Jamison of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Bosh sustained two injuries in the blow, a displacement fracture of his nasal bone and a nondisplacement maxilla injury.

He stayed overnight in Cleveland and had surgery, performed by Dr. Frank Papay at the Cleveland Clinic.

“It’s not a fracture that would require screws or plates or anything like that,” Dr. Paul Marks, Raptors medical director, told reporters. “It’s just a small flap of bone, per se, that’s been put back in the right position so that it maintains that structural integrity. This would be in the time frame of weeks, perhaps, to set in place and to be healed.”

Bosh was averaging a team-high 24.0 points and 10.8 rebounds. He is the second Eastern Conference frontcourt player in less than a week to sustain a season-ending injury and douse his team’s hopes of a playoff run. On April 3, Milwaukee’s Andrew Bogut dislocated his right elbow and broke his right hand in a nasty fall.

Raymond Felton?

We would need to use the rest of that money on a PG.

You don't think Gallo and Lee's numbers will decrease? I think this roster will net the same amount or even slightly more than what Toronto has achieved.

Cant go from 6-7 years of 20+ wins to eastern conference contender over night. It takes time. Bosh and Lee would be a good step in the right direction. takes care of our front court and we can use the ramining 9 mil to focus on the backcourt either by signing this summer, waiting, or absorbing a contract through trade.

I think you can see a difference when you put Barron in there and Barron is not close to Bosh's class of player. You can see how Lee's diversified game will fit in and Gallinari can play inside out.

I would not be too happy if we gave this guy 50mm. I would rather focus on cheaper solutions. I would love if we could get Shaun Livingston for 1 year for 4 or so mm with a team option for 2--keep TD as the primary back up and draft Fredette. This way you are keeping your PG options open with the hedge that the guys we have in house could turn out great--making an upgrade unnecessary.

It's not about individual numbers decreasing or increasing. It's about the players function as a unit. You have to think about the effect of having 3 players with such highly efficient games and really good overall BB skills. I would think we would have to top it off with a solid PG and that would get this team into the top 5 in the East.

Felton
Chandler
Gallo
Lee
Bosh

Not super sexy but a good start. Maybe you add Camby to the mix.

Well if he signs with Brooklyn in 3 years then I'll make sure than I egg his house every single day for the rest of his life. And all his cars too.
