The losing has gotten to Lee, who said he will not re-sign if he thinks the Knicks will be bad again.

"If you were going to tell me for the next five years we're going to win 20 games, I definitely wouldn't want to be back," Lee said. "But I think things are looking up with the situation Mr. Walsh has created. It's not fun losing in New York. What I what I hope is with the situation Mr. Walsh has created, we have money to spend on multiple guys, or a guy like LeBron, the best player in the league.

"From what I've heard, it's equally as fun to win in New York as miserable as it is to lose."

If we re-sign David Lee, it pretty much means we failed on the 2010 plan - which is to sign 2 MAX FA's. I don't think LeBron James or Dwyane Wade would come here to play with Lee as their sidekick. I think Chris Bosh will come here but pairing him with Lee is not a good fit. I think Lee is gone - thank God.
