With Zeke grabbing Starbury, that in itself solidifies garden sellouts! Dolan has realized that with former players the "BUZZ" at the garden has been missing for quite some time even with victories. The team before the trade was being criticised for not being athletic enough or exciting enough to bring back the "BUZZ" back to the garden. So know Zekes sells us Starbury(hometowm hero -great story), even if the knicks lose because of lack of Chemistry he gets his wish "SELLOUTS". What better timimg than to wait until JVG is coming to town, just like the suprise GM move hiring Isaiah Thomas just before Spree came back to town for a payback. Now the guy is JVG, the coach who left the knicks with their pants down in complete humilation. Zeke has his own chip on his shoulder and now wants to prove to the world that LARRY BIRD fired him for personal reason's alone. THIS IS A BUSINESS 1ST, and notice Dolan is hiding in the backgound licking his chops at the potential gate revenue, remember he could care less about a championship!!!!

Yes Martin just like he loved Mcdyess before he shipped him out, or Just like he said how much of a good coach chaney is offesively and defensively, I think the word he used was "SOLID" LOL

It doesn't make sense to trash your coach in public. It doesn't make sense to trash a player you're going to trade. Every GM would do that.
Yes I do believe Thomas wants to win a championship. There is nothing I have read anywhere that would indicate anything else. Is this a business yes, will that effect decisions yes. But those are the same restrictions any GM faces (except maybe the guy in Dallas)

Playa - sorry I guess I'm not expressing my point clearly.
What I'm saying is as long as Chaney is the coach and Thomas is being asked about him - he is probably going to support him. The same for a player he is planning on trading. I believe this is the way any wise GM would handle it. Yes - GMS sometimes lie - they all do.
I happen to believe Thomas is a super competetive guy who really wants to win. Could I be wrong - sure - wouldn't be the first time.

Hire anybody for this team to coach it , but when they play in the garden they will be nervous, just like starbury was.

Gony oppossing team are always amped up playing against the knicks in the garden, especially on "NATIONAL TV".
