This can't sit well with an offensive minded coach. I feel strongly that if we can put together a team that plays on both sides of the ball that we can go places. I'm afraid D'Antoni is going all out for offense. That said, if we get Bron and have Douglas at the point, that is two great defenders. Gallo is a good defender and Chandler is better than good. Lee is getting better. It seems like we have the makings of a team that can play good D, we just need the coach to instill that. I'm worried if we get Bosh or Amare that coach will just try to outscore everyone like he did in Phoenix.

This offseason is going to make or break us. If we don't get the right personnel for D'Antoni, we might as well get another coach.

We are all sick of, especially when nothing seems to be improving. But, that said, Douglas does more and tries harder than anyone on this team when it comes to D, so it's telling. Further, the pg is the team leader (to a point) and with Douglas' work ethic, you know this has got to affect others. In large part, it's probably why him and Gallo get along, they pride themselves on defense.

agreed Douglas at least gives an effort on defense & for the most part so does Gallo, but it's sad when you have your young players talking about this stuff & the veterans only seem to care about their next contracts this summer.
