It's a gamble, with good odds, but you can still loose, having 4 kings don't mean you have a 100% chance of winnin, somebody might have 4 aces, you never know. Only time will whether Thomas took the bank or is our of the table. 1)Must make the playoffs this yeah, if we don't we just lost a lottery pick. 2)How good will Lampe and Vujanic be? 3)Injury? What happens then. The point is nobody can really know now, so all the arguing is really pointless, especially considering the Knicks havent played one game where they actually knew the plays. We wont know for years who won came out on top in this trade.

Stephon will make this entire team much much better! Open shots for ppl like Houston and KVH that are not good ball handlers is exactly what we need. We will get a lot of pick and rolls with Thomas like we saw last night! This was a good trade and there is no way to doubt that.
We are allrite. We can easily win the first round of the playoffs with this team.

This is what I think. We will win around 45 games this year! I really think they can turn this thing around! There arent many bad players Chaney can play and if Stephon and KVH and H2O get the msot minutes we will definately win a lot of games. We are going to go atleast 30 and 16. I think a few win streaks will give us the .500 dream for this year. =)

Of course we can't know whether the trade will work or not until some time passes. But the whole point of forums like this is to give your opinions. My view: even if it doesn't work, even if Marbury tears his achilles while getting his shot blocked by Yao tomorrow night, this is a great trade. Every trades a gamble. The best you can do as GM is make the right decision with the knowledge you have. Then the rest is luck.
