poor girl. i have nothing against women's ball. just because they aren't as athletic as guys doesn't mean they can't or shouldn't play ball. i've played with some really good female players.

not for nothing but Stuart Scott is a douchebag... can't stand his commentary on highlights, dude tries way too hard to be clever & IMO he was way too hard on these female players... spend less time worrying about college girls missing layups & more time on fixing that face of yours dude.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Hating on womens sports is kind of silly.
Maybe Womens hockey and Football are not really viewable but they wanna play by all means let them. And if someone wants to watch, and pay them to watch, more power to them, the schools and the networks! I like Womens hoop. They have stronger fundamentals. Its a different game. I have seen some GREAT womens games. In fact, the girl missing just made for a great finish! She was too far under the basket! Womens tennis is cool, and when my daughter got into Womens Lacrosse its been a very cool game to watch. They don't have the contact like the mens which makes it more a finesse and Skills game. And............. Some things are just there to be enjoyed if you care to. Its evident by attendance figures and TV ratings that enough people are watching to make it profitable. Single guys: want to hit it off with the ladies? Don't hate on womens sports in front of them. Its immature. |

It's probably even more embarrassing when a man has an open layup, then he goes up for a dunk and completely blows it either because 1) He was way too emphatic or 2) he couldn't decide what he wanted to do.
Please, grow up. That original post is actually offensive. Just b/c the ladies aren't jacked out of their minds or throwing down slams doesn't make it bad basketball. It's very good, when they are good, and there are lots of good ladies out there. all i know is bitty could school everyone on this forum on the basketball courts, & that's truth... take it from me, i've played against her before.

can't stand him... Karl Ravech is another guy i can't stand... the only guy on ESPN that i like anymore is Tim Kurkjian... everyone else is either a Red Sox Nation apologist or a Yankees/Knicks hater.
