Kevin Durant says that he will try to sell playing in Oklahoma City on upcoming free agents.

"I tell them it's nice," Durant told the Boston Globe. "It depends on what kind of person it is, of course. Some guys like the big-city life and some guys like the small, rural area, too. It's all about the person.

"I just tell them it's a great place to play. We like each other. We like being here. We have a close-knit group and hopefully that attracts them, and if it doesn't, we continue to work with what we have and we have faith in what we have here."

I appreciate that KD likes living in a rural area, but he needs to wake up... there are maybe 2 or 3 guys in the NBA who would be willing to live in Okie Homeya, and they all play in the D league.

I mean Puleeeez! If Lebron wants rural, it's a 45 minute drive from midtown Manhattan. In his case, it's a 15 minute chopper ride to his private landing pad on the roof of the Garden.

I don't think Durant is referring to a guy who he will probably end up scoring more than. He is OKC's Lebron. He is talking about big men. I wouldn't be surprise in a year or two you will hear about veterans talking about how they would love to make their way down there to play with the young guy.

They have Sara Palin. This should be enough.

LOL @ 'Okie Homeya.' Yeah, this franchise is about to become like Alabama or Mississippi college sports. White folks in the audience are like: "Yeah, I'll cheer for your Black ass, but dont go datin' our daughters!"

Umm ALL the happy people don't live in New York.

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Durant needs to put down the crack pipe... and pick up the meth.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

You had veterans willing to run down to SA to get a chance to play with Duncan in his prime. If Durant and the Thunder continue on their quick path. I could see plenty of veterans talking up that team. Leading his team to the western conference playoffs after just 3 seasons. Oh yeah.

It is much better to win in Okie that suck in NY.
Even suck in Okie is better that suck in NY. Nobody cares anyways.
