dolan is trying to return to checketts era decision making and saying to hell with the salary cap. the writing is on the wall: win now or die. unfortunately, for all the hype around these moves, they will not be enough to end the death spiral. this team will not make the playoffs this year and will eventually have to be blown up so that dolan can sell the team he so adroitly drove into the ground.

Oh man! You are a fountain of optimism. Put out the misery man. Zeke will get the knicks out of this. We'll get better players in here soon. If not by feb's deadline then in the offseason.

did we put ourselves into worse cap shape? No. What is the cap for? If its low you can pursue free agents. Marbury is worthy of any free agent at a position of need.

the coming of isiah and marbury will not help the knicks. don't forget that a man named dolan still owns this team and he's going to run it into the ground before he gets tired of is "toy" and tosses it aside.

I think the Knicks will be fine. Let's look at it this way. We now have a superstar in Marbury who is just 26 and someone to build our team around. We have Houston as our second best player and he could be a second scoring option on a great team. We also have Van Horn who would be a solid third option on any great team. We have some young and tradeable assets who can hopefully get us back a good player for the future like Gooden, Swift, even Miles who does have loads of potential still. This team just needs some time to mesh and for Thomas to make one more move so he can be comfortable with the current team, and we are looking at a team capable of going deep into the playoffs.
