the best backcourt in the east on paper? i think you could make a strong argument about being the top three in the nba period ( behind payton/kobe and maybe nash/finley). i mean, we have a backcourt that any one of them could drop 50 points in any given night. it is not out of the ordinary if the backcourt avg.45-50 points a game this season.

That sort of depends - is Houston going along with the program? Didn't he appeal directly to management to keep Ward? He doesn't seem to happy at the moment. He and Thomas are probably the only two guys in the prayer huddle after the game now.

I think too much is being made of Houston's friendship with ward. Yes they were friends and Houston was unhappy to see him go. It's a pretty natural reaction. He'll get over it and if he's healthy Marbury and Houston will play well together.

If Allan isn't down in the dumps due to Ward's departure, then yes, hands down, They are the best backcourt in the Eastern Conference.

On paper, it's the best backcourt the Knicks have had since Clyde Frazier and Earl the Pearl. It feels real good to know.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Yeah I have always said that Allan is kind of soft, but I have also seen him with hardcore players in the 90's and it worked then. Since he has that obscene contract, he's too old and 1-dimensional for the money. Maybe We can trade him in a sign-&-trade this offseason...for Kobe.

He is soft and its stephon that makes this backcourt more than Houston.

Me too! Stephon however makes this backcourt amazing. He is much better than Nash and Houston's lack of ballhandling is made up for by Marburys extreme control. They are up there as a backcourt!

it's a business. if he does'nt realize that, he will on his way to la. yeah! i wish! he was quoted as saying he "was off a little last night because he's not used to being so open". get used to it al. it comes w/the territory of having a real point.
