In all likeliness, we will have to choose between Bosh or Amare this offseason as either a sidekick to Lebron, Johnson, or Lee. I don't know if it is possible, but if we cant land Lebron I wish we could end up with Johnson, Bosh/Amare, and Lee. We would obviously have to make some trades and hope the players would take a pay cut to add a third star. But if it came down to choosing between Bosh and Amare who would you take?

Chris Bosh

Amare Stoudemire
27 years old
6'10 and 249 lbs
22.9 PPG, 8.8 RPG, 0.9 APG, 1.01 BPG, .555 FG%, .777 FT%, .167 3PT% (1-6)

I think Amare because the way he impacts the game more in my opinion. It sounds stupid but the points Amare scores have a much bigger effect than the points Bosh scores. Most of Amare's points are powerful flashy dunks that give the Suns all of the momentum and excite the players. Bosh's points are plain (nothing wrong with that) and don't have that effect. Also, I think Amare is a little bigger and a better post player and even a little better defensively when he gives the effort. Plus he is super athletic and we know what he is capable of in 's system and it is scary good. Plus I just don't like bosh, he looks like a dinosaur and for some reason it bothers me

it's not possible... we only have room for 2, not all 3.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Why no love for Amare? He is only 2 years older and he appears to be near 100% recovered from the knee injury. All his explosiveness is definitely back (that dunk on the guy from the GSW was insane) and he looks to be just as quick as he was. The only reasons I would really consider Bosh over Amare are Amare's knee and the 2 year age difference but I think Amare has at least 5 good years left because he basically sat out 2 seasons so there isn't the wear and tear from an NBA season on those knees. Looking at best case scenario for both players (completely healthy and fully motivated) I think Amare is the better player. Amare can do things Bosh isn't capable of athletically and based on the limited times I have seen them play Amare has the better post game to complement Lee's outside shooting.
