Berman put his foot in his mouth again and tried to remove it after the game. Tommy Dee took it a step further by saying this is the second year will miss the end of the season based on Berman's article. Tommy Dee once again not bothering to do any research for himself on the matter like the complex act of checking last season totals.
It really was the season before last when he only played in 65 games. I did rely on the berman story, but the were several reports that he may shut it down for the remainder of the season, so it's not as far fetch as some of you make it.
He did play in all 82 games last season but fizzled out cause of the high ankle sprained towards the last 11 or so games
He played in like 30 games in the 07-08 season and injury had nothing to do with it. Isiah didn't believe in playing rookies much like MDA (so many similarities but that's another story). When he finally got burn was at the end of the 08 season. Donnie took notice when first arrived. Particularly his game against the Pacers and Orlando. The only reason why I remember was because on press day he single out Chandler and compare him to Granger. As far as last year wasn't he one of the only Knicks to finish strong according to D'Antoni despite the bone spur (it wasn't a high ankle sprain).
Berman put it out and some other outlets ran with it. Berman late last night tried to get the story right.
