Those who are a GIVEN to leave:

House - who just isn't worth keeping at this stage of the rebuild.
Duhon - cause he's done with the coach and just isn't very good.
TMac - cause he's done physically. (enough with this health thing)
Bender - clearly doesn't have it.

Those who MAY return:

Sergio? Not sure. He could be a nice backup option.
Giddens? No idea.
Al Harrington? I hope we don't go desperation and retain him. He just doesn't fit.
Lee? Hard to say how this will play out. So many options here.

PROBABLE to return:

Walker? I think he stays. Cheap, hard working, talented, young.

LOCKS to return:

Gallo, Chandler, Douglas. (barring some big trade of course)

I'm still wondering why Bender was acquired in the first place.

He has just been awful.

I would not be surprised to see House or T-Mac back.

Same here. House knows MDA's system and T-Mac can probably be had for cheap..

I disagree with this, as I think he may return. I think this has little to do with his performance and everything to do with his agent. If Arn Tellem delivers some of his marquee clients to the Knicks, I'm certain TMac gets the MLE (assuming such a scenario is permissible). if Tellem cannot deliver those type of clients, then he doesn't come back

I know TMac has a chance to stay but personally I wouldn't bother unless it was the vet minimum. At any time he can go down. So you give him a 3 year MLE-ish deal and he goes down? No thanks.

So he's on my "thanks but no thanks" list.

Besides, I don't like how he stagnates the offense. Sure he gets some players some good half court looks but it's not something that wow's me.

House...eh, dude's been pretty disappointing so far. I do like how he does share the ball (unlike nate) and does play within the flow of the offense (despite jacking a few too many shots) but he just hasn't been hitting enough.

Still, if he stayed it'd have to be cheap.

But now we're racking up some salary.

Sergio(3), TMac(6), House(2), Walker(1)... I mean that could be 12M right there. And House probably wants more. Re-sign Lee. 10M-12M. Ut oh, now we can't even afford ONE max player.

Uh.........?

I'm not saying he's worth it, what I'm saying is that Arn Tellem will get his guys to sign in NY if he knows he's going to get an MLE commission check on top of the available cap space

The posters on record on this thread that suggest TMac is done are lacking in imagination imo. Don't you guys want to wait until the guy gets healthy before you decide if he is done? Aren't you interested in what the economics would be as well? You don't think it is possible that his health will gradually improve and he will again become a positive basketball value again?

Al Harrington is not coming back.

As for House, there is a very good chance he comes back. If we sign 2 max guys, we can sign him to the minimum and you know D'Antoni will want him back if that's the case. It's his boy.
