Its becoming to look like D'Antoni needs to inherit a team full of STARs, ALLSTARs and right fit role players
with nearly the perfect 2 way type players for him to implement his system for success.

Right balance of Guards, Forward play, PG and Size similar to Phil Jackson.
Other than Phil Jackson triangle offense and his luck ability to land on coaching teams with a Jordan/Pippen, Shaq/Kobe
and now a Kobe/Gasol & Artest Jackson is a great adjustment coach and has schemes to beat most teams.

As much as I cant stand ex-knick Phil Jackson gotta give him a little tiny bit of credit,
he lame tail aint gonna to a team without Stars/leaders or Allstar caliber #1 or #2.

Brings us back to D'Antoni.
I feel we'd be singing his praises if Knicks had all of the luck and circumstances Phil Jackson had in terms of players.

You can see If either coach had to start out a team without 1 Allstar STUD or 2 neither would perhaps be in any conversation
as good or elite NBA coaches.

Riley was right when he says you need #1 or 2 stars to build team around for success. Can't argue with that and that fact
makes Jackson seem even more greater coach cause of situations he found himself in.

Jackson at least had few lame seasons when he came back into coaching prior to the Gasol trades, though Kobe was there.
We have yet to see what stamp OR IDENTITY D'Antoni can build on the Knicks.
