Strange... that money puts them BELOW the tax threshold.Keep ragging? Because your idea to trade down to dump Zach was dumb? It was. Life goes on. Who cares. Do you actually hold on this stuff? Geeze.
Dumping a contract is easy for you to say.
Your hang Shin, who everyone in the league knows is cheap $18mm for a player who will never be anything more than a backup so long as the Chris Paul the face of his franchise is still on the team. Its just good business, both for him and for us. Not every owner is Mark Cuban. Most of them actually care about money. Thats a boatload of cash.
um... getting rid of a player for a future 1st round pick is just a tad different than a straight salary dump of assets to unload salary.
& i keep holding onto this stuff because you've done a complete flip flop on your entire argument against trading down in the draft to dump salary, & you continue to take pot shots at people who were in favor of trading down to dump Zach & yet you complete support Donnie's decision to dump a ton more assets to unload Fishlips... doesn't make a bit of sense to me
my position made a ton more sense than yours trying to make reason of this moronic trade Donnie Walsh just pulled off for a prayer's chance at signing Lebron this summer, let's face it... i have never once been an advocate of straight giving up assets to dump salary... trading down 10 slots in the lottery to dump $33 million of an albatross contract is just a tiny wee bit different than giving up a #8 lottery selection & draft rights to 2 future picks to dump a $7 million dollar contract fish.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
