I disagree, he is very quick still, watch him play. His shot is off but so is Stephon's.

Can the guy get some games under his belt as a Knick before all the hate starts??? My friggin' GOD.

exactly gony and not only that but I guess people would be happy with eisly still on the books getting paid that salary and having no skills..

Penny did a lot of good things out there but his shot was off but then so was everyone else on the KNicks. He had some nice passes in the game that lead to assists. He was showing more quicknesss than Houston out there.

Penny, Moochie and KVH were they only Knicks who came to play last night. How is he done? Like everyone said, he's moving well. We know he's still got skills ... those don't just go away. He's lost some hop and some confidence from his peak years, but he's still a valuable player, albeit with a ridiculous contract. I look for him to get 25 to 30 minutes a game ... first sub off the bench.

He looked mobile to me.I think things need time to settle down.Penny looks like a good backup for kvh and houston.He'll get more minutes here than in phoenix,so he'll have time to prove what he's got left.The plays that i've seen, he cut to the basket just fine and seems to have some quickness.If he plays 15-20 minutes a game at the 2 positions,I think he'll contribute.Lets all relax and give the guys some time.

I loved little penny. I wish I had bought a Little Penny doll!

Big Penny has never had much of a personality or a strong character.

I hope he can end his career on a good note, but he is in my crosshairs for least favorite knick someday. Just a hunch.

The jury is still out. they all looked bad last nite.

Vranes played 3 minutes at portland. They all looked real bad also.

Penny was getting 25 minutes in Phoenix. I think thats around what he'll get here 20-25min.

Penny was a throw in and another former big name that the knicks get after major injury, stop trying to fool people who know b-ball. Eisely was bad too.

We all know Penny was salary dump. Not a throw in ... addition by subtraction from Phoenix's perspective. No one's trying to fool anyone.

That doesn't mean he can't play, just that he's not worth max contract. IMO he can still play, and that he'll help us a lot.
