Former Bulls savior, injured a lot, cant score... sounds like our kind of guy.

If the fallback plan is Joe Johnson how would Chandler look next to Lee at PF?

i think he'd be awesome for the 25-30 games he'll play each season. you, my friend, are really grasping at anything and everything.

then again, d'antoni doesn't have a spot on his roster for a guy that can't shoot.

Seriously? We had Darko and he played zero. Chandler has LESS offense than Darko.

The only center we should be interested in is Horford in 2011.

hey.. I didnt say we should get him. I asked what you guys thought.

We have ZERO shot at Horford. The Hawks have his rights and will resign him

Yeah, if we are going to overpay for someone, Horford would be my pick. That guy plays hard and brings the defensive intensity this team needs. I would do a sign and trade Lee for Horford at the drop of a dime.

guys.. he is a restricted FA. Hawks will match any offer. We have a better chance at Lebron. AT least Lebron can come if he wants to. Horford cant even do that

it would make the hawks pick and choose. i think if the knicks offer him or joe johnson close to the max they can, then the hawks will pass on one of the them. hawks ownership and $$$ is in pure dissaray. joe johnson won't be a hawk next year b/c some team will give him $90 mil - maybe the knicks, bulls or clippers.

that is exactly why the Hawks will keep Horford, because JJ will be somewhere else. Horford at the post rookie max is a good asset to have. He's a bit small for a center but it doesnt matter. 4/5 frontcourt two way player. Nuff said.

Not necessarily. If they lose Johnson they are likely a lottery team.

You are right but if we pay Joe Johnson the max then they have little incentive to over pay Horford in 2011.
