That's funny, I expected Garnett to just blatantly trash the brand new player the team acquired.

Nate is in a better place... he was never going to get along w/this head coach & he's too talented a player to be wasting away on the bench... now he's got a chance to learn under some real leaders on a team that knows what it takes to win in this league... no better place for Nate to be.

I'm pretty sure a number of Celtics did bash the trade itself the day the trade occured. I was pretty surprised about that. At the same time, I knew Nate was a better player, so I knew and know they'll be changing their minds.

It's always easier for a guy like Nate to be on his best behavior on a team with winners and legends on it. What's he gonna do, come in clownin and not paying attention. If he was focused and acting like an adult when he was here we would not have traded him. Are we gonna just ignore all the bonehead crap he did that got on the nerves of every coach we've had since he got drafted? I love Nate, but to be honest I can understand how a coach can get tired of his antics.

Nate is a good dude in the end...MDA had his agenda...Good to see Nate appreciated for a change...I hope playing for a good team with a coach in his corner takes his game to a new level...The kid at times had a positive effect on the court that we all can see but we choose to dwell on the stuff we hear and can't confirm.. Can't figure how that works....Go Nate!!!!

Nate is going to blow up on the Celtics. Bill Walker looks like a player, so we did not get totally hosed on the trade, but Nate is going to look good in the playoffs.

having guys like KG, Pierce & Ray over there will help Doc deal w/his shenanigans & keep him in check... we had no guys like that over here that could keep Nate in line & MDA is definitely not the type of coach who wants to babysit guys like him... i think Nate will show himself well in the playoffs this year... wouldn't be surprised to see him go off for 30 like he's done for us & get Celtic fans to love the guy, then you'll be listening to the TNT commentators ask why the hell the Knicks ever traded him to begin with... that said, i don't think Nate would have ever worked out in NY unless we got Lebron this summer.
