How is it that a contending Western Conference team can find useful D-league players while a team that is in desperate need of talent and bodies unable to find a single useful D-league player in the last decade?

kinda my point. it's not like we have so much talent here that a D-League player would be taking someone else's spot. shoot, we might as well have sent Toney Douglas down there if MDA planned on gluing his arse to the bench the entire season.

Unless TD is getting super awesome playing against Chris Duhon in practice...

i dont believe the knicks have ever brought anyone up from the dleague - maybe quintel woods, but i think that's it right?

Qyntel Woods was actually a worthwhile call up... at least he could play.

Donnie has tried out scrubs like Joe Crawford, Courtney Sims, Sun Yue, Cheik Samb & Mouhamed Sene... i think Morris Almond also played in the D-Leagues too if i remember correctly... he was at least a worthwhile tryout.

They have brought guys up and last year tried some centers. D'Antoni doesn't give them any court time anyway even thought the season is over.

All those guys were worthwile tryouts- you're hit rate is not gonna be that high. Courney Sims was 24 and putting up the best numbers of any Center in the D-League, Sene was a lotto pick, Crawford was a good college player at a major program etc.

Its not like we're bringing up Anthony Goldwire.

The the Knicks don't do is they send guys down there for developmental experience.

Donnie is a scrub. He should be sent down. The man can't draft for ****. He can't make trades and he can't get useful talent. There is no 2010.

it's the same reason the knicks have 2 first rd picks this year and one being a lottery selection and neither could get any minutes.. the reason is bad management and poor talent evaluaters
