Does anyone know if Ilgauskas can play for the Cavs in the playoffs? He has to wait a month to re-sign with his former team (Cavs) but he could have signed with any other team once he was waived and played in the playoffs if signed by a contending team. But he didn't and the playoff roster deadline was March 1st. So it does look like he is waiting to get back with the Cavs but I don't think he can play in the playoffs with them. Since Shaq had surgery on his right thumb and will be out for maybe 2 months, this is a big deal for LeBron's pursuit of a ring.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas reached a buyout with the Washington Wizards, so the veteran center is free to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers in a month. Of course, several other teams are interested in his services, too, and he could join them immediately. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=brain/100226_zydrunas_ilgauskas&sportCat=nba The difference between fiction and reality? Shaq, Antawn Jamison, Anderson Verajoa, JJ Hickson, Zydrunas Ilguaskas. Looks very clogged to me.

Cleveland looks like they want him.
