I like FWill, and I'd hate to see him go, but he's our most valuable yet expendable player. Stephon must be top 10 in league in minutes. Don't want Frank sitting behind him. He'll be underutilized and won't improve. Don't want him or Marbury playing out of position either.

So, we package FWill with Kurt or KVH or Dikembe for a serious upgrade at PF or SF or C and we're a championship contender. Don't lose that much by giving up FWill, but potential, which we're not in a position to realize anyway. Moochie is adequate as a backup point and you can always pick up a serviceable 2nd string PG. And if neither of those work, Penny can play some back-up point.

I have a feeling that is exactly what Zeke is thinking to himself too...
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

If either of those trades go down, It'll significantly improve the team.

We got Marbury, so isn't it time to change that sig, Case? Starbury is a Soldier!

I agree...its time to send FWill packing - but only for an upgrade at SF, PF, or C - I would prefer PF or C, and a package of FWill and Thomas would be pretty nice for any team but who would bite?

If we got Artest...would we get rid of KVH? He would be useless if that went down. How do we get Artest out of Larry Legends hands when Zeke is the one asking for him? I also heard Artest and Carlisle are making nice these days.

I would be more concerned with PF and C then SF but if you can get an impact player at any position then do it.

I like FW - but I doubt that anyone outside of NY, Things he has any value. I wouldn't trade him - he has a low salary and doesn't have much trade value.

ARtest would be nice, but hes not what the knicks really need

what they are lacking is athleticism in the front court, KT, Mutumbo and Othella are all solid player, but none of them are Athletic...

if we can package FWill and Othella for a decent PF/C with some jumping ability we will be in real good shape, even if he is a backup and not a star

What are you guys talking about ? Frank will be the best Back up to learn from Starbury that we can get. Who is gonna give up any realsubstance for Frank Williams?
His upside is what we might need. Starbury has had surgery on his both ankles and if he goes down we are back at square 1 with Moochie (I need a jumper) Norris. Wake up!

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Trading FW underminds most things this organization is trying to do with youth. FW is in the perfect position to learn from the great ones. This should also be a time to cease trading, define rolls, execute and enjoy the game

If necessary, we can always revisit the trade boards in Feb. to fine tune.

The next big trade NY may want to consider is a bigger ticket
