What does DICK CHANEY & DON CHANEY have in common ?? They both accidentally fell into a job they don't deserve & really suck at doing it !!!! Both need to be fired !!!

Actually, it's true. Real fans want players with fire, and that's what Starbury brings to the table. Add to that the fact that he's more talented than Spree, and most of us are AOK with it.

We'll be getting more players like that too. I always said we need more players like Spree and obviously Messiah Thomas feels the same way.

Any so-called fans who wanted this team to be a bunch of cream-puff boy scouts can start looking for another team to root for.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

True, I gotta say it isnt the same with Spree gone..and this year started off soft. I dont want to see anymore soft ball from this team - Starbury is step 1, is Artest step 2? I am excited to find out who the next Knick is going to be because the roster we had until yesterday definitely didnt get me fired up.

Yeah man I wish we could trade Van Horn for Artest somehow. Then get Sheed in here, and it's the New York bad boys of the 21 century lol.

Looks like the Blazers think they can get something better for Sheed so I wouldnt hold my breath. Artest...they claim he and Carlisle are back on good terms so I dont know - Thomas will work something out, but it will probably be something we dont expect.

Getting Starbury will define why you'll never want a player like spree again.

Starbury will bring real STYLE & drama from the streets of NY to the Garden on a professional level.

Starbury shares the same qualities as Spree that fans loved so much. Fire, intensity, and the never-say-die attitude.

Marbury said it himself. So YES, we have a player like Spree again now, which makes fans of true gritty players happy. That's all that matters.
