I think that Wade's body has taken a beating. All of those beatdowns driving to the basket is taking it's toll. Do you really thing that we should invest in Wade? I don't think so. His body is about to break down.

Don't want Wade. He thinks he is too good or something. Laughing it up and such. He is staying in Miami for sure anyway.

lbj+wade has been my fav outcome, though i do agree, can he make it 5 years with his style of play. if he alters it, can he continue to be a high level player?

I like when he is doing "Laughing it up and such".
He is cool guy and smart so do not expect him to play in NYC.

I agree. This is a big concern for anyone giving Wade such a contract. With that said, we gave up so much to get to this point. If LBJ isn't available but Wade is, you have to give him the contract. He's one of the top 5 players in the league and can turn a franchise around.

I think if you can get Wade you take the risk that his career might be shorter because he plays so hard. Wade is too good to pass up but I don't think he leaves Miami.

Either Bosh is joining Wade in Miami (or some other big, Amare, Boozer, etc)

or.

Wade is going to Chicago

Regardless, the topic, excluding the Knicks, is still a valid one.

Wade has taken a lot of hits and has been hobbled plenty of times. Yet he is a superstar and I have found that most superstars are elite players until their 33/34 age.

So, unless you expect Wade to suffer a catastrophic injury. Penny, Houston, TMac, something like that...then, I'd expect him to still be an elite player for the next 5 or 6 years.

What if he misses 20-40 games like he has in the past? Does that not ruin his worth as a franchise player to the team?

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Wade is staying in Miami, which is fine with me, because I agree, his durability with his playing style is dubious. Besides, he don't want to come to NY.

There is some ongoing fued w/ Wade and riley, but if you can live and work in Miami you do so. He's got his ring after all. I think he would be quite happy to just play on a good team and make a zillion dollar over the next 8 years and retire happy
