Guy has just gotten worse and worse as the season has gone along. He cant shoot from deep and he's not strong enough to finish when there is congestion[where as guys like rose and evans could]. You take out three games against cupcakes and he actually has more TO's than assists. If Cousins and Patterson don't carry the team--they play like they are playing now. John Wall has a lot of physical attributes but he is very raw as a PG--young but raw. I cant imagine a team taking Wall over Turner and not giving serious consideration to a few other guys. he is NO walkaway one pick. You can listen to the hype or actually watch him play. He is now shooting under .400 in SEC play.

Briggs - you have one pick in the second round at the Knicks projected spot

Just one.

what college player do you select and why does this player fit on the Knicks?

Knicks need to avoid Arizona big men at all costs.

I wo9uld take Jimmer Fredette although I don't think he would fall to round 2. He fits the Knicks because he's the best PG in college basketball. He can shoot from anywhere on the court--he's big and has deceptive athletic ability and body control. He finds the open man. He always has his head up and does not turn the ball over. He runs a system at BYU which is offensively similar to the Knicks.

I can imagine it. Turner is a good player but he is a junior. While he improved his game it still has major holes as well. He is still very streaky with his jumper. Staying an extra year benefited him a lot. His game reminds me a lot of Caron's game. Interesting to see how it translate at the next level.

Evan Turner is the best player in college basketball by a good margin. I thought he reminded me of Caron Butler lite myself last year--this year he looks like an easy selection for the first pick.

Evan Turner looks to be a fantastic player but he's also 2 years older than Wall with a lot more college experience... i would be highly surprised if Wall isn't taken #1 overall in this draft... & btw this isn't based off hype, i've actually watched him play.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

He's a good player and a great prospect with unusual size for the PG position and elite athletic ability--those guys go very very high--probably number 1--I would personally draft Turner.

Briggs, do you think Turner is the best pro prospect though? Is he going to make it through 82 games?
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

LOL, come on now Fry would have been perfect for this system :)

That kid Whiteside is going to get consideration for the 1 pick. He's 20 pounds from being Dwight Howard 2 with more offensive potential.
