Most people look at numbers like "20 and 8" and think you just plug them in and you have a winner. IMHO, he and KVH are not going to get along, VH's game will suffer and he'll be packing his bags soon enough. Now what if Houston is out for a stretch or marbury ankle's act up from all that surgery and we go to lottery and Phoenix gets high picks from us. WANNA GET AWAY.....

Wow - Playa is a hater now. The team lost when its players were out before, so why would you act like it is a big deal now? You know there are more moves to be made in order for this team to be a serious contender - but its one step closer then under Layden. I think you are just pissed because your predictions have all been wrong.

Isaiah is making this team BETTER. Stop the hating and negativity and try having some of that "FAITH" and "VISION" that you always bumped your gums about when you were backing up ya boy LayDown and that impotent roster he put together.

Now it's all about "what ifs" and "worst case scenarios"... LMMFAO

as well as frank was playing he was years away from making us a contender. Marbury makes us a contender right away and he's not much older.

You don't get better unless you take risks. Yes, the sky could fall down and we don't make the playoffs and we're lamenting the trade come the Spring. But that's not what most people who know basketball would expect. Knicks should be playoff bound.

And even if they fall flat, because of injury or any other reason, might only mean we lose the chance to draft another Sweetney.

That is just it, he was a Layden fan and now sees what a dunce he was, so he has to bring Isiah down too. remember he hated JVg too, it seems that he does not like managment that REALLY is trying to win. The trade has risks and if anyone gets hurt it would be tough, but I also think NY has depth at the 1-2-3 now. Actually it is the 4-5 where NY is weak again.

Maybe Playa is Layden? That would explain a lot.

I noticed in the insider artice I think it was...it said Layden had offers on the table but was afraid to pull the trigger and felt paralyzed. Being a manager means knowing when to pull the trigger, if you cannot execute you simply aren't going to be successful. Why in the world would anyone hire this guy after this? He has shown he is not capable of managing anything - that and the fact that he showed up in shorts, sandles and a t-shirt is one of the most unprofessional things I have ever heard about a manager. Thank god he is gone, and finally someone with real basketball knowledge is in place.

Playa what gives? Were't we supposed to be all optimistic before we actually got better and lost the dead weight? Or were you a Layden fan all along and now just tryin to bring down Thomas? I don't understand ya man. Be happy, the Knicks are fun to watch again for a change.
