Eddie House is a great shooter, but I noticed that the guy uses his quick release even when he is wide open. I think his percentages would increase if he relied on the quick release only when needed and took more time to shoot when he is open. It seems simple, but I noticed on 3-4 occassions last night that the guy rushed his shot when no one was within 6 ft of him.

he's been doing that ever since he's been in the league - everyone knows the score on house by now. what makes you think that will change now?

Anybody can change. I doubt the Knicks have anyone on our coaching staff that can teach this guy, but just as an observation, I think he would help his game if he took his time on more of his shots.

I really hate Eddie House's game. He's terrible for a team trying to develop some young players.

That's how he shoots. That's how he plays. He's a 28 game rental. Not really worried here.

As for the Knicks developing young players the only young players we have are Chandler, Gallo, Douglas.

Two of the three log plenty of minutes.

anyone can change? he's been in the league for a while - the knicks didnt get him so they could 'change' him. they knew what they were getting w house. let's just call it what it is. oh, and im still waiting for curry to get back in shape....b/c you know - anyone can change. sorry my harshness not directed at you game - im just tired of all the kool aid talk around here thinking the team is something they are not.

Arguing while leaving your man wide open is a trip to the dog house in my opinion. This is Nate kind of crap.

DNP his ass.

House is who he is and his game is what it is. Expecting a champion to change, after being traded from a championship to this crap is unrealistic, and honestly, also unfair.

Personally, I kind of like his game, but that's as a role player. Yet I have a feeling we are going to emphasize his role playing even more, and expect way too much out of him. Just like we, and the coaching, did with Jared Jefferies. As a result, everybody here will hate him. Yet it was us that acted stupid, as well as the coaching, and expected House to be a full time starter/finisher.

He's a spot up shooter, and he can, or at least did, play some defense. He's OK at running the offense in short spurts, and he hits clutch shots. That's Eddie House for you. A 15-18 minute a game player. If you appreciate that, the way I do, then you'll be happy. If you think he's more than that, just because he hit some big shots as a Celtic, then you're in for a tremendous dissapointment and you'll probably hate him, the way people here hated Jefferies.

A bad team thrusts role players in the role of hero.

A good team uses role players....as role players.

We don't have a choice.

Which is why it was good to go all in on 2010 rather than bank on mediocre draft picks working out.

We need star power. We need it now. So we can stop playing role players in the roles of star players.

Until then we will ride decent role players as if they are stars and then get upset when they look like crap and we lose.

everyone knows MDA doesn't like undersized SG's that take a high volume of shots... except when he's coached them before in Phoenix that is.

I always hated eddie house, but I respect his shooting touch and energy.

But the reason a player gets traded as much as he does is because there inconsistanly good..meaning he can be really good-lights out-or really bad(bench him)

Does anyone want to start a "Hey Eddie House, Please Stop Taking So Many Bad Shots" blog lol He's here for less than 30 games, so I wouldn't let it bother you to much. Eddie is supposed to get limited minutes as a shooter off the bench. If he's still doing the same thing next year, then we're in trouble

Eddie House needs to grow three inches and learn how to dribble and pass.

i think the coach needs to devise a system where he can get guys like Wilson & Gallo involved in the offense instead of having a role player taking all their shots in crunchtime... but hey, that would involve actual work.

every now n then its okay with me, but i think AL Harrington has to learn to share the ball more as he promised he would b4 the season. I also think Gallo shouldnt be the starting 4, maybe the 5 since Leee will get killed by the center anyway. If the center is really going to guard back gallo, that means a lot of looks for him. If not i would like to see him back as the 6/7th man i rather see some minutes at eddury curry since he looks like hes in a lot better shape or bender at center. Hes too small but but hes still our tallest longest player....
