Guys on this team don't take a boxer's punch to the chin too well. Knicks get 1 or 2 punches you can then Larry Holmes jab them
ALL night long and whip them.

All in all the guys and coaches have no pride. Tonight Celebration of 40 yrs for the old Knicks proves you can't even inspire
what roster players we have here. In other words they don't get it ! . Milw Bucks look like MAVs or CELTs against our team.

You recall when Pat Ewing night ? at MSG and he and his family celebrated a game against the upcoming and BETTER Orlando Magic
team led by Mcgrady. Do ya' Remember that game went 1 or 2 OT ? for Knicks to win ?

Those dudes on the declining Knick team then refused to let the Knicks lose on Patrick Ewing night. Those dudes got it.
Those dudes were Allan Houston and Latrell Sprewell. Team was a shell of itself but they got it and understood any team
comes into the "Garden" to take Knicks heads off. Broadway lights and highlights, it did not matter whether the team was a
Good team, an elite team or bad team they all come back then with their BEST Stuff and acted like the Knicks were champions.

TEAMS got up in the Garden to play basketball like never ever before. Even if the team threw up bricks. Do you remember that ?
Knicks didnt win ALL of those games before and after those Ewing Glory years. But the effort and heart was always true blue.
Them people got it on the knicks roster more nights than not.

And Let me tell you something it would take a Kobe/Shaq Laker team OR Piston elite team OR Spurs team and great teams to win
at the garden and play their best.

THIS Knicks roster DONT GET IT. They dont know what it means to wear white and represent NYK.
Al Harrington dont get it. Duhon and David Lee don't get it. Mr Chandler and Gallo don't get it.
As a matter of fact most of recent years Knicks hasn't GOT IT.

You even now have the current Knick coaching staff which doesnt GET IT !

Jeff Van Gundy says it best after winning alot of games here as NY Coach or losing then having a .500 record.
JVG Says ".500 record may be good at other cities and nba francises in the league respectively. But in New York
that .500 record OR worse is totally unacceptable".

JVG said a HUGE statement there and is reason why his players played for him, same as Pat Riley's players.
They GOT IT. They never lost and took games off after getting punched in chin by likes of the BUCKS, and any
other subpar .500 or worse team.

These coaches and players here WILL never ever get it the last 20+ games left in this season.
I Cant wait for July 1 2010. Hopefully then we'll get at least 5 or 6 players whom GET IT and understand
you have to want to excel in Newyork and give effort. This is absurd and ridiculus to lost whenever we
can win.
