I really don't understand the exuberance by fans about McGrady...He isn't part of our future...He was rental for cap space, nothing more...He is taking the ball out of the youngings hands right now...If we get 2 max free agents he is gone...If we don't get 2 max, he's gone...no way I'm offering him a contract given his history and age...He is playing in an older man's body...Will he be willing to take the MLE???..

Gallo had 1 shot attempt in the first half...It's not going to get better...U guys think Harrington like the ball in his hands, wait until McGrady gets comfortable here...How on god's green earth can Douglas not get some PT...The season is over, play the guys that will be here next year...What is the problem????

It was more like the crowd was dying for something to cheer for.

And we won't be able to offer the MLE next season. You only get it if you're over the cap, which we won't be.

Dude, I think you and I were watching a different game from a lot of guys.

I saw McGrady holding the ball and making some nice plays but there was no flow when the offense went through him. Guys were bitching about Harrington stealing Gallinari's shots ain't seen nothing yet!

Chandler's whole game was taken away by McGrady's presence...it was obvious. The team spent a lot of time just watching him...no doubt McGrady is a special talent, but even when he was the real deal this was a problem.

The Knicks are not better this year, and if they don't hit at least a triple in the off-season, Houston is going to get 2 nice picks from the Knicks and shed Jared Jeffries' contract next season to boot. The Rockets know what true flexibility is. The Knicks have to hit it big this offseason or their flexibility is gone: No players to deal, no draft picks to deal, and their money locked up in Joe Johnson or someone like that.

Bro I really don't get it...If you are not competing, it's pointless to have McGrady take 20/25 shots a game which will happen...We have young players that need NBA time to improve...It's the reason Houston got rid of him in the first place...They had young players that needed the ball..

It's the same story. The Knicks cannot properly commit to their plan of action, and to the extent they do commit to it, they fukc it up...like trading their entire future 2 days ago.

Now we have some clear movement on the forum.
This is promissing - the team is up to something.
Now who will be right - Bools or Bears?

Dude just doesn't get it... do you see the spacing that McGrady creates? Changes the game for the youngin's and allows them to play some real ball.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

uh... yeah, did you watch tonight? It was so easy for Chandler to get to the rim it surprised him a couple of times. Watch next game when Duhon rides the pine and they bring TD in to play with TMac. He's going to blow up a game I promise you. With Bender, TMac, Lee, and House on the floor, TD will feel like he's playing one on one full court it will be so wide open. Did you see Sergio? He got to the rim whenever he wanted. Dude just doesn't have the hops to do anything about it.

Yes I watched the entire game..By the way Chandler always gets to the rim, TMac or no TMac...TMac opens the court thats a good one...He forgot to open it for Gallo, he just got 6 shots...

Gallo is the worst player we've put any investment in since Francis. Wake up out there fans. When he takes more than 6 shots in 20 min it will be because he decides to, not because we've designed more plays for him. No more excuses for El Busto. My grandma could cover the guy and my aunt could score on him.

Offensively, that was the best that we've played in my entire life of watching Knicks games and we'll get better when Duhon is completely benched. Sergio, TMac, Lee, House, the way they made the offense move was crazy. It shows you what can happen when you have a superstar on a team. When TMac posted or Sergio got in the paint it gave the spot up shooters wide open looks. Great night on the offensive end.

We'll still lose our share because nobody on this team can play defense.

If gallo wants the ball then he should demand it from tmac but gallo is to passive and he doesn't help lee on the boards at all he only had 3 rebounds for 6oot11 guy thats not good at all.

What was TMac supposed to do Holfresh? He had an efficient game on offense. You want him to step aside and let Gallo... not do anything? That's what he's best at, walking in circles around the three point line.

It's got nothing to do with Gallinari. You made up a story about how McGrady creates great spacing. That has never happened in his career and it is not going to start happening. He is a ballhog and an offense stopper, players don't change after 12 years.

LIGHTEN UP WILL YAS!! Did yall hear what THE GARDEN sounded like, it was different energy than any other game this yr.

Holfresh, were we watching 2 different games??? McGrady played fabulously. There hasn't been a Knick in the past 5 years, maybe 10 years, that added so much excitement and SKILL as TMac did last night. The entire team was up. The Garden was packed and rocking. Everyone was going wild - for a team that has only won 19 games this year. Now we have options on offense. TMac needs the ball - yes. He also deserves the ball. The same thing will happen if LeBron were to come here.

Did you see some of TMac's passes? The one to Harrington on the fast break was awesome. Name a Knick that you have seen make a pass like that?

The team will have to learn how to play with a Superstar. They will. This was just the first game. I just hope TMac can stay healthy and his knee is OK.

yeah I saw...He was good definitely...Not the point tho...How does this help us down the road...We are going for broke this offseason...Tracy is not in our plans...He is currently taking playing time and the ball away from players who will be here to help us..Tracy is definitely still a very good player, just not one that will be here going forward if things work out...It's not really the time to feature him as a go to guy...It's time to get the younger players confidence and have them learn what they have to work on in the summer...Tracy was good but how does it help the Knicks going forward...
