Nalod, IMHO, it is Layden's JOB to make the right decisions for this franchise....notice, I didn't say getting rid of Camby for McDyess was a bad move...I can see where he made it....yeah his rep is shot, and the Knicks and Layden were a running joke for a long time. Layden was scared, as he should have been towards the end. But when you have half the GM's in the league not wanting to talk to you, that says something. Part of his job is to keep open lines of commuication with other GM's so he can make trades....You can't trade with yourself.

BTW, the center I couldn't think of was Eric Chenowith...
