They have two really good PGs.

Their team needs help in a loaded Wester Conference.

Chris Paul had a tear in his meniscus. Doctors chose to completely remove it rather than try to repair it. I read that generally leads to overcompensating /the other knee, bone on bone grinding and other great stuff.

Despite all that I doubt New Orleans would ever trade Paul but..why not use a nice young asset to get Paul help at other positions (like SF..Peja has been playing well but is getting old) while Paul is still in his prime.

It seems like a waste to have Collison just backing up Paul for the next few seasons when he gets back.

Does this not smell like an opportunity here?

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

nice young assets we are getting in short supply of around these parts... what would u propose to give up to get Collison? Gallo isn't going anywhere unless we're getting a bonafide stud... would u trade away Wilson?
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

No way. PG can wait until next season. Lebron will be running it if he signs and I am looking forward to watching Sergio for the rest of this season as a possible audition to stick.

I don't quite understand your reasoning here... let us suppose you are GM of that team...your best player may just be literally on his last legs and you want to trade a player that has the potential to replace him?

If anything Collison is more valuable now....in their position I don't trade him not even interested in talking to you about it. Period.

Wow, that's some ruff stuff. Didn't catch his injury was that bad. Hope CP3 is able to recover from this. The guy is too good a player.

No meniscus...it was removed...bone on bone ...think Bender.
