It's always nice to see someone who deserves it in a new beginning. I've seen many complain about taking on some other teams scrubs. Often times a new team can being out the best in a player. Much as it is hoped on these boards will happen with Sergio Rodriguez.

Al Thornoton had a nice debut for Washington...shutting down Carmelo Anthony in the fourth quarter and recording 4 blocks and 2 steals as well as a team leading 21. Just some scrub. [/sarcasm] And yes I posted on this guy earlier saying he is available. Didn't one of you guys talk about he didn't play defense? (shrug)
It's just one game though so...

Antawn Jamison...meh not so much. Tyrus Thomas did a bit better....but looks as though they need a bit of time to get there. Even James said "Charlotte seems to have our number this year.


Still to come..Nate's new start. And Jordan Hill and many others. Will be watching.

Jamison probably had the worst debut I've ever seen from a player that can ball.

Antawn went 0 for 12 his first game w/the Cavs... i'm pretty sure that trend won't continue... 1st game with a new team anything can happen... nice debut for Thornton tho, he gave Melo a rough time in the 2nd half.

i wouldn't expect much out of Jordan Hill, he's still a work in progress... kid's gonna need some regular minutes before he shows anything substantial... he should get more of a chance w/HOU now that Landry's gone... i wish him the best & hope he shows some of the things i saw out of him coming out of ARI.

good to see thornton playing well. he's a guy i definitely wanted on this team as part of a deal with the clips.

Tyrus Thomas had 9pts, 12rebs and 6blks in his debut with Charlotte last night. Scary.

And it looks like's we're going to see Nate's new beginning first-hand on Tuesday.

can't wait to see Bill Walker's new beginning tonight... a big fat DNP-CD i'm guessing.

another strong performance from thornton. he's someone i was definitely targeting at the deadline, it's too bad we didn't make a play for him.
