Not a superstar, but everything a Knick should be.

Even if you hated him, I'm sure there were many times that he made you cheer down the stretch.

I hope Kurt is able to double the number of charges he draws.

Well, according to an Arizona paper, they are expected to cut Ward. Who knows, maybe IT resigns him at less money?

My guess is he ends up in houston with JVG.

Charlie Ward crossed the line between hard-nosed and dirty. He also was a self-righteous, bible thumper. Marbury is New York ... tough, strong, incredibly talented. Good riddance to mediocre Ward.

Amen to that, Bernard!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I agree with the majority of the posters in this thread. Ward shouldnt be put in the same ranks as Eisley. He was a good Knick. He loves the game and played his best every night. Who else takes as many charges as him besides Thomas? Its too bad he's past his prime and has to go.. Soon the Knicks wont have any good ol' Knicks besides Houston.. and he doesnt represent the fire of LJ, Ewing, and even Spree could be considered one.

Childs wasn't a bum either, but I really will miss Rev. Chullie.
He hit big shots, made many a great defensive play in the clutch, and also had the dubious distinction (i watch alot of MSG) of owning a heisman trophy. What kind of **** is that? I'll really miss him. Maybe, the suns will buy him out and he will resign with us for the minimum?!?!?

Ward could have played in the NFL. The problem was that he told the NFL that if he wasn't drafted in the 1st round, they should draft him.
