The problem with Playing for mike D is your gonna log a lot of minutes if your good and he falls in love with you, with that being said T mac has shown a propensity for breaking down when the minutes are heavy which they have been since he's usually the best player on the roster.
Thats why he is willing to play for peanuts if the knicks can add some good pieces. I get the feeling he's not looking to take over games and run his high milage body to the ground, while MDA and his tight 7/8 man rotation indicates otherwise. If Tmac misses any of the last 30 games do to injury he will become a marbury type after thought come summer time.
I can't think of on player who has come back from that kinda surgey, plus back problems and suddenly resume where he left off.
