D Rose is on a rookie contract, which means you have more room to put good talent around him.
Not sure on the talent only front.

I rather have Wade but if I am a big man like Bosh I rather go to a team with Rose just because dude is on a rookie contract which means that team has more cap space to spend on quality pieces.

Who would I rather watch? Rose. He's the most exciting player I've seen since Jordan. Homebody is electric. No homo.

Who would I rather have in terms of wins and losses? Wade. Duke is an assassin.

Rose - I think D Wade is going to have some injury issues with the way he plays and he already has some decent mileage

for 4-5 years, i'd say i'd rather have D Wade... Rose is nice but not on Wade's level... Wade is All NBA on both ends of the floor... i think he can play at a very high level for another 4-5 years yet.

rose doesn't get to the free throw line at all and he can't hit threes. as a result, you see a lot of games where it takes him 20 shots to score 20pts. he's not that efficient.

wade is the FAR superior player. rose MIGHT get there. right now, it's wade by miles.

i'd take wade for the next 5 years.

current time -- agree. next 5 years, not sure. wade has already missed some large chunks of time from various inuries from how he plays. not sure that such a great wager for 5 years. i admit he is my pref with lbj if the knicks can sign 2 FA's though. rose isnt an option (so far) and i think you can still get some great seasons still from wade.
