Let me forget for a moment that I hate what we had to do to get rid of JJ2.

Just for kicks and gurgles, imagine Donnie pulls off bringing DWade and Lebron to NYC next year.
Just imagine having the 2 best wings in the game in the same colored jersey: BLUE.
What would that look like? One word.

SICK!

Both guys are MVP caliber players.
I can't imagine a more DOMINANT wing pairing. I wonder if there ever actually has been in the history of the NBA. Anyone?

I'd rather get LeBron and Bosh to be honest with you.

Not in my mind. You get Wade and Bron, and all you need is 2 guys up front that can play defense and grab rebounds.
No way you could stop those two. Both can shoot, slash, pass and defend. Who are you going to guard/stop? The other will kill you.

LeBron will not join Wade because Wade will always have one more title than he will.

LeBron+Bosh works.

Wade+Bosh works.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

You guys are thinking too small! Think about this.

Whaaaaaaaaaaat if... not only do we get Lebron, but we also get Wade AND BOSH!!!! Wouldn't that be crazy!?!

And then we get John Wall via trade! And Amare joins just for kicks!

I just can't wait for all this to happen!

Pippen was never an MVP candidate, and on his own would not have been able to carry a team.

Disagree - Scottie Pippen was an awesome player. He won 55 games without Michael Jordan in 1994 and was a Hue Hollins call away from beating us and going to the ECF. The Bulls would have beaten the Pacers in that series.

As good as Clyde and Earl were, a pairing of Lebron and Wade would be even more devastating, which is why it will never happen.

he was awesome, but couldnt get over the hump imho. not even close to wade talent. and, you cant say that he was one bad call away from beating the pacers though. one bad call does not define a series. also, i remeber pip crying like a school girl when kukoc got the last shot instead of him in that one game - he sub'ed himself out the game....LOSER

Oh yeah, Scottie Pippen is not as good as Dwyane Wade. I've been watching basketball since the late 80s and Wade is a top 5 player I've ever seen with Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.

my dream scenario would be Wade + Bosh. not in the least because we'd finally get to payback Riles a little bit. also, i love the way both Wade and Bosh play.

edit: but i agree with the folks saying it will probably be one max guy and two additional pieces this summer, with another max guy in 2011.

pippen did manage to land in the top 5 for mvp 2 times in his career. as much as i like wade, without his pairing with shaq, do we think diff about him now? i dont think wade comes close to a title minus shaq (baring some other monster pairing).
