this must be so much pressure on dw that i kinda feel sorry for him..if you remember donnie had a cushy job with the pacers for 2m a year with the title of president but more of a consultant...when his contract expired he interviewed for the knicks job..he knew the pressure that came with this undertaking and went back to the pacers to get his old job back..the pacers owners love donnie but said they wouldn't pay him the 2m a year as a consultant anymore..that's when he decided to take the knicks offer..he didnt have great success in indiana and thats why i wanted the knicks to hire jerry west..

now the pressure on donnie realy starts..if he's successful signing lebron he will be a hero..anything less and we will be stuck in a another decade of mediocrity..im just a fan watching on tv..what about the fans who spend their hard earned money to watch at the garden..what about donnie come 7/1/10..donnie is not a young man and is a cancer survivor...if he doesnt satisfy the ny meshuganas we may never see that once bright smile on donnies face again..oh the pressure

Courting Lebron will be a TEAM effort. The entire City will be part of the process, not just Walsh. It's gonna be a crazy thing when he comes here to listen to our offer. He's never seen anything like what's gonna happen this summer.

the knicks were already able to sign one f/a..by trading '09 lottery in hill,and possible 2011 and 2012 lottery picks walsh has put tremendous pressure on himself to get 2 of these 3 lebron/wade/bosch...if i were stern i wouldnt have alowed this trade to go thru..30 yrs ago the nba disallowed the trading of 1st rd picks back to back called the stepian rules after the cleveland owner kept on trading VALUABLE 1st rd picks ..but the knicks have circumvented these rules by doing the option to switch picks..thus the knicks can possibly trade 3 lottery picks in a row..if this happens the knicks will be bad 4 the next decade..stern will change the rules and not allow this circumvention of the system any longer..walsh's legacy with the knicks will have the Walsh Rules named after him replacing the stepian rules ..stop the insanity
