The fact that people actually GIVE A SH*T about the knicks now!!

i my self am so excited to be a knicks fan again

i was on thephone with my boys yellin and screamin jumpin for joy starbury is home, this is something we all dreamed of, a move you would do in nba live just to see what it would be like

u wanna say we traded our future? man u gotta be kidding me... what future??? we lost NOTHINGGGGGGGGGG in this trade... absolutly NOTHING

U wanna say oh we are still not going to win a championship...
well i tell you what, we werent going to before this trade, and MILOS certainly wasent going to change that anytime soon... at least now we have some hope, some pride, some excitement.. who knows what can happen.. u gunna tell me the team of 94 was better than this one??? they just had HEART... what we were lacking.. maybe now we will finally have some of that back

The knicks were a pathedic team, no heart, no charector, nobody cared

a disgrace to NY.. they did not represent the NY aditude and the NY heart

marbury is the ultimate NY Player, he was the most covited player in the rutger tournament.. and now hes ON THE KNICKS!!!! this is like a farry tail come true

the knicks are back, the heart is back

now when i go to the garden and hear jay-z WELCOME TO NEW YORK CITY

it will mean something again, i will be proud, excited, and i actually WANT to root for this team and sport my Marbury NYK jersey wit pride

What more can you ask for?

I hear that!

Oh yeah, the song the play in MSG is actually "New York (Ya Out there?)" by Rakim.

When they pllay it and show the Knicks' players now, it won't be all softee boy-scouts.

Finally a REAL NY Point Guard!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I was a big Milos fan but even I gotta say it was a good trade. I always stood up for Milos but hoesntly, Marbury will take us much farther than Milos or Lampe can. I hope there are more moves comming.

Elite: Thats exactly what I said to my friend on the phone too! I'm sooo excited to be a knicks fan again.

Glad to hear you've freed your mind from the "Milos Madness", and that you've finally seen the light.

Don't worry, Zeke is far from done. At least one more deal is coming before the trade deadline.

This offseason is gonna be wild too...

u think there's one more trade out there? Don't know man...the only other player we have of any value is Thomas...and the Knicks NEED a PF in return with any trade involving him.

frank has value

ward is about to get waived

trade frank+thomas for a postup threat.. wallace.. shareef, someone like that.. resign ward to fill franks void, then we'll be a title contender

but ****.. even if we dont make anymore moves im happy

all we're missing is a back to the basket threat, but it aint like we should have a problem scoring anymore with Marbs Houston penny and KVH, and our interior defence is solid with deke and kurt... i have hope guys... i really do

GO NY GO NY GO!

Thomas, who already traded Clarence Weatherspoon to Houston for Moochie Norris and John Amaechi (who was waived Monday), indicated he'll continue to pursue trades.

``I still think need to get a little more athletic and a little better,'' Thomas said.

damn! the positivity on this board is sick fellas. strangely enough we actually have dolan to thank for finally coming to his senses. i also was a milos fan. the kid is good, there's no denying that if you've seen tape of him play or at least seen his numbers. but stephon? that says it all. ALL PRAYS DUE TO ZEKE.

They played the Rakim song with the Knicks video on the scoreboard. But hey, they can bump both those jams now because the Knicks are back on the MAP! Yes!

To hell with all that punk, soft boy scout mess. Watch how this team changes with Isiah at the helm. That LayDown Utah connection is dead and stinking. All the Euro-hype is over! Now we have a real deal shot caller that finally got us a STAR.

I wanted to find a way to get Artest on our squad and I saw an interesting trade proposal on realgm.com, the trade went as follows:

Knicks trade Van Horn, Harrington, and Frank Williams
to the Pacers for Artest, Croshere, and Pollard. trade id# 1384693

It would be great to get Artest, this would give the Knicks the best defensive front line in basketball. I really like Frank Williams but with Starbuy, he won't get much burn.

Croshere has a bad contract but can provide some offense.

I'd do that deal in a second. Artest is a badass. He's Rodman with some offense. He'll win a couple of rings before he's done unless Bird exiles him to some lousy team.

thats means he might trade our whole starting 5 minus Marbury.

The most important factor in this trade.. is we now have someone to 1> create there own shot 2> close out very close games.

We finally get the type of atheletic PG that can take over a game that we've been screaming for since PE's day. If you parlay the entrance of Zeke plus Starbury, you may have produced one of the greatest pairings in NY sports history. Only time will validate such an event.
"Like they always say, New York is the Mecca of basketball,"I read that in Michael Jordan books my whole life and I played here in the Big East tournament, so it's always fun to play in the Mecca of basketball."---Rip Hamilton
