The Rockets have an agreement in principal with the Kings to acquire Kevin Martin, according to Marc Stein.

This trade could expand to a three-way deal with the Knicks, sending McGrady to New York.

A league source indicated that McGrady will wind up in Sacramento or New York by Thursday's deadline.

Kenny Thomas, Hilton Armstrong and Sergio Rodriguez will also come to Houston, while McGrady, Carl Landry and Joey Dorsey will be outgoing, according to Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski.

I love kevin martin. I wanted this dude.. but hey, I will vote the kings GM knicks MVP from preventing the knicks from mortgaging their future...

Can't wait for Walsh to trade Nate for House and acquire Tyrus Thomas and try to sell us on 2010 that way. I bet he'll even say how we're auditioning Tyrus as well for 2010. Lame. This franchise is a disgrace. I admire Walsh. His plan was the only one we could have done. But he didn't have the balls to go all-in. He failed. He is a failure. He is not on Isiah's level. Never will be. But he failed. He should retire this summer before free agency even begins. That way he can avoid any more humiliation.

If the Knicks are willing to swap places in the draft next year and give up a top 10 protected with Jordan Hill--they will dump Jeffries on someone---Houston wanted no protection--there is a team that will be reasonable and take that very healthy deal.

This is why I was confused as to why he was playing 30 minutes a night when no GM was going to take him for having a streak of good games.

Glad now I dont have to see Jefferies for 30+ a night.

One source close to the situation confirmed to ESPN.com that landing McGrady with the Knicks before Thursday's 3 p.m. trading deadline is the goal, but the Rockets and Kings have a deal in the event that terms can't be reached that include New York.

Sources told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher that the Knicks would receive McGrady and Rodriguez in a three-team scenario.

You know what the record is with K Martin in the line up .5 and they have 18 wins--do the math. He wasnt working--now the Kings will stock up on our assets
