a knucklehead for sure, but a lovable knucklehead nonetheless... i will miss him even tho he's made me wanna pull my hair out on many occasions.

I get back and Nate is traded but we don't know for who? Conflicting reports whether a pick is coming back or not. Maybe a first, maybe a second ...
Why trade him for less talent if there is no pick? He is more fun to watch than any of the rumored players coming back.

He was a fun player who unfortunately was here at the wrong time. He'll be a sparkplug somewhere.

They just showed Nate on NBATv with this really cute kid who was in a wheel chair. The kid said that Nate did the dunk he wanted him to and won. I am not sure what it was for(i.e. make a wish) but Nate had him on tv and with the cheerleaders. The kid was thrilled and Nate was very gracious. D'Antoni is an @ss.

The Knicks and the Celtics had agreed to the framework of a deal. The Knicks will receive a package, including Eddie House and perhaps J. R. Giddens. Salary-cap complications may force the Knicks to add another low-salaried player, like Marcus Landry, to make the deal work.

Sounds like more of an omission than a report of a pick not coming. Deal doesn't make any sense from the Knicks perspective without a pick. At the very least, letting Nates contract ride keeps butts in the arena, sells some jerseys and concessions b/c he is definitely the biggest fan favorite at MSG.

I'd rather have Bill Walker. He's as good a minimum salary guy as you're going to get, and we have to assume the min salary anyway when calculating free cap space.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I totally agree. However, it is time to come to terms with who the Knicks coach is and why you can't cross him or make him feel uncomfortable. D'Antoni was not comfortable with Nate, didn't want him around but knew with his talent and popularity he would have to play him. That is why he is moving on for nothing.
