FOR STEPHON MARBURY AND PENNY HARDAWAY! Wow. I can't comment on this trade right now...But it's good that we got rid of Eisley, and McDyess. I hope they did not throw in a first round draft pick. Wow. Any suggestions on if this is good or bad? Is this just to fill in the seats of the Garden and lose in the second round or what? Wow. Just wow.

The article you posted say's they gave the rights to Milos Vuljanic....Not like he was gonna play for the Knicks anyway. I sure as hell hope we can trade for Kobe Bryant, of course that's a pipe dream, but THINK ABOUT THIS: If we can trade Eisley, McDyess and Ward, what makes you think we cannot get Kobe for Houston and Penny? I dunno, I'm talking crazy, but it's good that we got rid of Eisley, although I thought we could of kept Ward and buy out his contract.

Knicks are never going to get under the cap. Marbury has 7 more years left. Marbury is in the prime of his life, and he will fit in well...

you see what a creative gm can do? starbury and williams as our point guards. wow! do you guys understand that within two weeks zeke did what layzie could'nt do in three years? acquire a superstar quality player! marbury is automatically the second best point guard in the east and how penny has been playing he is not too shabby also as a back up for houston. now we can talk about playoffs.

Associated Press
NEW YORK -- Stephon Marbury would return to his hometown as part of a multiplayer trade tentatively agreed to Monday by the New York Knicks and Phoenix Suns, a source told The Associated Press.

The Knicks would acquire Marbury and Penny Hardaway from Phoenix for Antonio McDyess, Howard Eisley, Charlie Ward, the rights to Milos Vujanic and cash, according to the source, who is close to one of the players and spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity.

Another source, close to one of the teams, said there were additional players involved.

The trade would be the fifth of Marbury's career. The Brooklyn native was drafted by Milwaukee and immediately traded to Minnesota, where he subsequently forced a trade to New Jersey.

The Nets sent him to Phoenix for Jason Kidd, and he now could be headed to the Knicks in the first major move made by new team president Isiah Thomas.

If the trade is finalized, it would represent a major shakeup of both teams. Phoenix, in exchange for its best player, would be gaining salary cap flexibility that would allow the Suns to rebuild a team that was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs last season after missing the postseason a year earlier.

The contracts of McDyess and Ward expire at the end of this season, and Ward has a buyout clause that can be exercised before Jan. 10.

Eisley is under contract for three more seasons; Vujanic, the starting point guard on the Yugoslavian team that won the 2002 World Championships, is playing in Europe.

YES!! We got a REAL POINT GUARD. THIS IS THE TRADE OF THE YEAR.

We gave them peanuts in comparison... Let them sweat Milos and deal with Dyess' knee and Eisley's contract. HAHAHAHAAHA!!!!!!

All that didn't believe in Isaiah Thomas looks like a DAMNED IDIOT now! Yeah baby! NBA EXEC OF THE YEAR. Anyone who was Pro-Laydown, can SUCK ON THIS!!! LMAO LOLLOOLOLOLOL

DO THE DAMN THING, ZEKE!!!!

Now all we need is Fredrick Weiss to come play hahahaha.

Anyway, I do not agree with making the playoffs.

LISTEN GUYS...

Dolan brought Isiah Thomas to shakeup this team and make the playoffs so we can get into the playoffs. That is why these trades are happening.

Thomas brought these players in to make the playoffs and to sell seats at the Garden. That is all for now.

This is the most amazing trade! We dont need a PG for 10 yeras with Stephon and Fwill and Penny can backup Houston!

The major Ding Dong just happened!!

We should definately try and make the playoffs. Stephon can definately take us there! I personally think Stephon is better than Jason Kidd in talent. Kidd is a better pure PG but Stephon has more skill and talent! He is going to be amazing in New York!

Can yo imagine what he will look like in that orange and blue?

you are right that all it does is put us in the playoffs for now. but getting an all-star point guard who is young will help us build a championship contender for the future. as a gm there a two positions you should build around, point guard and center unless you have unbelievable talent in the other positions. plus starbury will be motivated playing in his hometown. oh, when do we play the nets again? i bet it will be a different story now.

Steph is signed for 7 more years at the Max...Penny will make $13.5M this year and $14.6 and $15.75 the next 2.

All worth it if Marbury come here though.
