ok...it hasn't happened yet, but it will. Watching Fastbreak last night, the teams in the hunt for Wallace services are Cavs, Philly and NY.

I think in order for the Knicks to aquire Wallace a lot of players will have to be involved. Can the Knicks afford to have 3 players making the MAX..or close to it?

I see Thomas and KVH for Wallace...and of course gargage players to match contracts...

I would love to see Sheed in an NY uniform but I wouldnt want to give up Thomas and KVH - who would be our SF then? The Blazers want to make nice and have a team of character - send Shanderson over there. He is expendable. Or maybe Penny?

That was my first thought, although I see Frank Williams being traded somewhere too.

I see FWill being traded too - the question is, what is his value at this point, who will he be traded with, and what can we get?

At this point I dont see another trade happening before the deadline - just because Thomas has already made 2 moves in 2 weeks - but I am used to Layden (where he made a move that helped a little and then sat on his hands instead of finishing the job and completing another trade) so maybe there is something else in the pipeline.

Isiah needs another front court player in order to insure that this year first rounder isn't a going to be a lottery pick. He has to make another trade, and he will.

To get Rasheed we wouldnt even have to deal Kurt. We could send Keith Van Horn (because they want character) although they may not want him, Micheal Doleac (who they def want because he's a hometown guy), and Frank Williams because Damon Stoudamire is as good as done there, and Frank can definitly get a shot playing for them. They will have a young nucleas of Q. Woods, Randolph, and F WIlliams with veterans K Van Horn and Derek Anderson. And M Doleac comes cheap.

After that they should deal Kurt Thomas and Moochie Norris for Ron Artest who after the Steph trade will be BEGGING to rejoin Isiah in his home town of NY. K Thomas gives Indiana a much better center than they already have, and Moochie is far better as backup fr Tinsley than K Anderson and whoever else they have.

Sounds to me like that would be more of a reason for Portland to want KVH. His trade value went up, and We can get Sheed, in th elast year of his deal. Since the last trade didn't help the cap situation, this one will...

Well at least with Sheed, they have the flexibility to re-sign him or not. With KVH, we're locked in.
