Gotta love the power of being able to veto

From Isola(Daily News)

Here are some leftovers from All-Star Weekend:

The word is that Nate Robinson would agree to a trade if it means him ending up with the Lakers, Celtics or Magic. So unless Robinson softens his stance, ‘Lil Him will finish the season in a Knicks uniform.

That's pretty dumb of him. He should accept any trade to a playoff team since he has a $1M bonus for making the playoffs in his current contract. He knows the Knicks aren't going to sign him, so why not collect on $1M by being traded to a playoff team, even if it's like Atlanta or Toronto, etc.

Nate & Tony Douglas for Derek Fisher & LA's #1 is the only deal that would make sense for the Knicks

Nate & Tony Douglas for Anthony Johnson, JJ Redick & ORL's #1 could work if we're dealing w/the Magic

Nate & Tony Douglas for Tony Allen, Eddie House & BOS's #1 could work if we're dealing w/the Celtics

Check Amar'e twitter page and for the record Lakers don't have a 2010 first rounder the Grizzlies own from the Gasol trade.

i'm not throwing in toney.

also, i'd like to see if it's possible to keep nate on the cheap come summer time.

nate is the perfect spark off the bench on a winning team. if we ever have one of those, he'd be valuable.

Heck, if we could get back a #1 in ANY OF THOSE DEALS... I'd do it, in a NY Minute!

expirings & a late 1st round pick, otherwise there's really no point in us trading Nate unless we're getting back a player who would improve us as a team.

NY isn't doing any deals with Cleveland this year.

nate is better than anyone we'd be getting at the bottom of this year's draft. i'd love to see nate and dlee see playoff action as knicks. but then, i'm sentimental.

I get it from the Knicks angle, but why wouldn't Robinson have them on his wish list?

Toney's not a throw in... that's where the late 1st round pick comes in... Nate will not be re-signed, u can bank on it... MDA can't stand him, it's clear as day.

Perhaps, he is "BETTER".. I understand.. we NYK Sentimentalists tend to let our emotions cloud rational judgement. However, he may not be the BETTER FIT, for this team going forward... A low 1st rd pick gives us more options and flexibility at selecting a team need.

Robinson knows Lebron is leaving Cleveland this summer so of course he doesnt want to go there.

I would trade him for a late first rounder to any of those teams in a second. Its really past, "let's try and win a few games for the Gipper" time. We need to make cut-throat moves to clear room for as many FA's as possible.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
